Description QUICK COMMENTS ;
- You don't need a foam head, you can use a balloon, ball, or a home made wig head.
- I recommend you use 'masking tape' and not clear packaging tape or duct tape. These tapes have a plastic finish that the glue from the paper mache will resist from setting in.

By the way, this is my first time making a helmet.

So here's part 1, a few people on tumblr and FB were asking how I made it so I just threw this together.

You don't have to follow it, I just wanted to show a possible way you CAN make it.
If you have an easier way to make it, good for you. (:

oh the WIG. Β Gah, I've been making things like this and they often are too tight. Β I never thought about putting something as a buffer to enlarge the size!

How did you put the tape over the newspaper in step three? I'm having trouble with that. I'm making this for a play in which I am Loki, Unfortunatley I need it finished by Friday >.< is tutorial three coming out soon? I heard a lot of people blow up balloons, or make their own head out of newspaper and tape.

Some people also used balls before but I think a balloon is better since balls are completely round and heads are somewhat oval.
