Well it turns out he was a big father type of person to Black Star. You see when I made that comment, I had yet to read the manga, but after the manga there are a lot f moment's where Sid acts like a father to Black Star.

I have to admit I kind of forgot myself, because Black Star and Sid seemed to act like strangers in the anime TwT Like Black Star being rude by yelling he never listened to Sid's classes, wanted to pee on Sid's grave TwT And Sid didn't seem to care about the bloody Black Star hung up on the board during the test
