Description The sorta' finished version of the 1,2,3 pic.... I did another illustration like this using the 'red' image of the random chick... I think that one came out a little better but I'ma post this one here and leave the other one elsewhere on the WWW, like hiding easter eggs or something!

somethings buggin me about the colouring of her arm. mainly where the arm meets the body below the shoulder. looks a little blobby. other than that its all good

Yeah I see what you mean, it was intentional though, trying to push the hard edge colouring thing, maybe I went a lil’ too far…

I'm trying, doing a BA in Digital Animation / Multimedia computing (in my 2nd year, although I never submit any 3d stuff I can model in 3D studio max and Maya). However I have no time for 3D modelling, and only ever model anything if its a absolute requirement Maya et all pisses me off! You're pretty serious at that stuff yourself, and as you probably know the key to being good at that shit is patience.... which I lack!

Well it's cool regardless that you're putting your vector skills (these are vector right?) to use.

Nah, not vector... (at least I don't think so..!!??) all my images (obviously not including the ones I didn't draw myself) I drew, (pencil, paper) scanned, and then inked, (well I wouldn't really call it inking as such, I basically go over my drawn lines using various brushes in PhotoShop to clean up the image), and then I colour em' in PhotoShop. If that is actually 'vector' then yeah it must be vector. I always thought vector work was stuff done in Illustrator, where someone traced over a photo or something? I dunno... lol!!!

Well...it looks vector and still seems "vector like".
Vector art is done using "paths". Photoshop has path tools, so I thought this was vector (either done in PS or illustrator).

No biggie though.
Do a search for "vector" art here in DA.
You might like what you see.
