Here is a picture that I did as a way of celebrating "Mer-May" for this month, which is a picture of my original character, Jade Squirrel (who was actually created for me by my good friend Wolf492 back in 2012), in the form of a mermaid. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I decided to take the opportunity to work on a set of pictures that I would be able to post for much of this week as part of "Mer-May", which involves artists being able to draw mermaid characters throughout the month of May, and I was in the mood for wanting to draw a handful of my own characters and how they would look if they were depicted as mermaids. For this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Jade in the form of a mermaid while swimming around in an underwater setting with a bunch of other sea creatures hanging around her, to which she can be seen wearing a purple seashell brassier with the bottom half of her body having a purple tail due to how much she loves to wear purple while also having her hair dyed purple as a result. When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use an aquatic-blue texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding bubbles in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
