The character's name is Janet, or just Jan to her friends.

Jan is one of those characters that sort of grew over time. Whenever I wanted to try some new technique, a new look, or some transformation I'm still experimenting with, Jan is usually who I pick on... er, turn to. She started out as just a cursed human (for the sake convenience, more than anything else), but over the years, I almost feel as though I've come to know her.

She's been through so many transformations in her life that when the curse strikes its more an annoyance than frightening. As the curse also affects those in close proximity, I can't say the same for those unfortunate enough to be near her when it does strike.

She does have some very understanding friends, though.
