Description Peeved (2011)

Melanie appears at tad upset about something. I can't imagine what the problem possibly could be...

-------

That tail has given us both no end of trouble.

Nothing I'm sure that a good curry brush on her tail couldn't cure...

I don't know about you, but I think I'd wait for her to calm down a little first before asking...

You know... in retrospect.. that maybe a good idea.

At least until I can get some more protective gear and thicker shin guards.

Melanie could always wear a Victorian style bustle dress, there should be sufficient room to conceal a problematic tail. And appropriate hat to hide the pointy ears.

Drawing decent horse tails can be a problem. It works well for me using graphite and paper. But using your digital toolset, might be a bit of trouble.

Daz 3d studio deals with 3d hair decently, if a bit of challenge getting the settings just right.

I haven't found either Daz|Studio or Poser to be all that helpful when it comes to hair - or clothing, for that matter. I normally enjoy doing hair - tail or otherwise... but every so often, I really, REALLY, struggle with it. After five unsatisfactory attempts at the tail, I finally went to a photo book to compare what I had to the look I wanted. That her tail and hair are meant to be streaked just complicated matters.

That's one nice aspect of digital, though... You can put the tail on different layers and if it doesn't work, you just delete it and try again.

As for the hiding part... I'm sure her sisters would say to her, "But its such a pretty tail! Why do you want to hide it??"

Daz Studio doesn't seem to do clothing very well, with frequent poke through and generally not fitting very well. The magnetize option works only occasionally for me. Mostly due to my lack of understanding of how it works. Clothes work the best in DS if they were made for the specific 3d model being used.

Layers do make things easier. Try a few things, turn them off and on to see what works best.

I wonder if she tried to sit down before checking to see if the chair had a gap between the back and seat... I very much like your more precise and elegant technique of late.

I dunno about "precise"... the smaller resolution hides a multitude of sins! I'm happy you like it, however!
