I think this is a pretty good design and I love the texture you have in there, he doesn't look entirely grounded but other than that this is great. I am not really good at concept work or robots, but I think they are awesome, and you're pretty good.
Anyway, If you make some of the grass overlap his feet a little more and extend that shadow under the foot on the left as well I think that will stop him from floating. But honestly its good enough that it's not that big of a deal.
