Description
This is a commission I did for a friend a little while back, but just got permission to put up a small version of it up online. (had forgot to ask if I could)Anyway, they wanted a picture of Magus from Chrono Trigger which they could print out as a poster. This is what I ended up with ... good game.

gaaah! cape is supposed to be blue! hair is supposed to be light blue! skin is supposed to be normal to pale in shade!! WHY ARE HIS PANTS PURPLE?? T_T you drew him perfectly, but your color choices confuse and infuriate me...

Okay considering the creator just let you utterly steam roll them all those years ago, I feel it is my civil DUTY to correct your rude self. Most Magus fan art is based off of the concept and official art of Akira Toriyama (one of the original members of the Chrono Trigger dream team), NOT the in game sprite work. In that concept art, he looks EXACTLY as he does in this particular art piece, Blood red cape, greyish skin, pale, almost periwinkle colored hair, and yes, purple pants.
So in short, the colors are right. You just didn't do your research. I am actually amazed that no one corrected you on this falsehood even after 5 years. Ah well, better late than never...

Chrono Trigger is such a good game, but Lavos in the end was so hard for me to beat, because I never trained Crono and Co. xD

haha, yeah RPG's are really difficult if you don't take a lot of time to level up. One of the things that bothers me about them; leveling up is so tedious.
