Description                                                                              Collide
Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi. This Fanfiction belongs to me...

"You've got nerve, Moonface." Haruka Tenoh said as she observed the blonde, she was trying to play Michiru's violin. Like always, Michiru hung back. She kept it playful on the outside, but she was getting sick of Haruka flirting with almost every girl she crossed paths with. Wasn't she enough for the blonde haired racer? Did she really have to do this in FRONT of her? Michiru slunk back, their apartment was quite large, and it took her more than she would've liked to get to the room she shared with Haruka.
'You're just... overeacting, Michiru. You know Haru-chan only has eyes for you...'  Michiru thought to herself, brushing her hair out. She looked in the mirror, and a pale, blue eyed girl stared back at her. 'Overeacting, Michi, get it together...' She thought again, and spied something odd in the mirror. She squinted. It was Haruka and Usagi-chan... kissing. Michiru had left the room for one minute, and Haruka was...
Michiru silently packed a few items, a brush, some clothes, and some money, and she ran down the hallway just in time for Usagi to break away and start crying. Michiru really liked Usagi, she was so sweet, and she knew it wasn't her fault, it was Haruka's, so she refrained from talking, and just ripped the door open and stormed out. She didn't realize she was crying. She sat down at the bus stop and waited for the bus, wiping away a few stray tears.
'How could she DO this? I mean, she's even bedded other women, (although, those times she awoke with a hangover and SWORE it was an accident) but she brought the PRINCESS into this! Poor Usagi, shes probably so confused right now... and how will Mamoru react? I know she won't be able to keep this from him for very long...' Michiru thought, tearing up again. Why does Haruka keep doing this to her? Didn't she love her?
                                                  *
"Moonface, I'm sorry, something just came over me. Oi, where did Michiru go?!" Haruka asked, and tried comforting Usagi."Jeez, Usa-chan, was I really such a bad kisser?" she joked casually, and walked to the fridge, getting herself a water bottle.
"Don't you even care about Michiru, Haruka?" Usagi sniffled.
"Moonface, she means the world to me." Haruka said, uncapping her water and took a swig.
"Then why did you kiss me?" Usagi asked.
"I am a HORRIBLE womanizer." Haruka said, and grinned.
"Why are you proud of that, Haruka?" Usagi asked.
"Usagi, you've known me how long now? Its just my... way, ya'know." Haruka said, and put the water back on the counter.
"Haruka," Usagi said, getting her jacket and she  started out the door,"I wouldn't be surprised if Michi left you one day."
Haruka looked out the kitchen window.
                                 'Michi wouldn't...'
                                                *
"Darling, you've returned home!" Michiru's mother said, and smiled as her daughter walked into her home.
Michiru saw Tai, her old boyfriend before she met Haruka, sitting at the table.
Tai had golden brown-blonde hair and dark brown eyes. He smiled at Michiru invitingly.
Michiru's mother had not quite grasped the fact that her daughter was indeed a lesbian, and was in love with Haruka Tenoh. She KNEW her daughter would come home, in tears, and want to go back to Tai. Today just happend to be a coincident.
"Honey, Tai is here to ask for... well Tai, you're the man, go ahead." Her mother said, and Tai got down on one knee. Michiru's mother gasped in excitement, already knowing what was going on.
"Michiru Kaioh, will you marry me?" Tai asked, and smiled. And something inside Michiru snapped.
"Yes." She said in a breathless whisper, and Tai hugged her, and slipped the ring on her finger. Michiru took her bags upstairs and locked her door.
                What had she just done?
                                         *
A week later, Haruka woke up to the sound of knocking ferverishly on the door.
'It's probably Michi. I knew she couldn't stay away from me for long. We're DESTINED for each other, she knows that...' Haruka thought to herself as she opened the door. It was Setsuna. And she had a frilly pink slip of paper in her hand. She shoved it in Haruka's hands, and left.
           Haruka read it outloud.
"You are invited to the wedding of Michiru Kaioh and Tai Isshida." She read outloud, and dropped the paper.
"We're MADE for each other, what the hell is she doing? I... I ca-can't.... I can't  picture a life without her..." Haruka broke down. This was the first time in about ten years she'd ever CRIED, let alone had a breakdown. She slowly crawled over to the fridge, got a bottle of wine, and began to chug.
                                                *
Michiru took her time before she'd gone to bed. She had found her Dairy/ scrapbook earlier, after Tai had left and she'd had time to herself, but couldn't bring herself to look at it. Until now.
                                    .....................................
"You're Michiru Kaioh, am I correct? What are you doing in a place like this?" asked the ever so careful Haruka Tenoh. Ever so careful as in she had been attracted to the beauty as soon as she'd spotted her in school, and knew of her many talents. Michiru was a diamond in the rough, and Haruka didn't want to screw it up.
"I...I heard you race here, is all. Haruka." Michiru said as she flirtingly twirled her long blue locks. Tai was... too SAFE for Michiru. Too... overprotective...no, that wasn't the word. Too... JEALOUS. She couldn't look at anyone without a question or a comment. It wasn't a bad thing, but it wasn't a good thing either. And Haruka caught her eye.
"Well...How's about after the race, I take you out to dinner? You're boyfriend wouldn't mind, would he?" Haruka asked, motioning to Tai, who was waiting for Michiru by the stands.
"Th-thats not my boyfriend. Anymore."Michiru said, uncertainly.
"Oh? And does he know about this sudden break up, eh sweetface?" Haruka asked, and she smiled. That drove Michiru crazy.
Michiru had always told herself that she'd get married to Tai, they'd been together three years, since she was a freshman and he was a junior. Now he was in college and she was a junior herself. She met Haruka once at school, they'd shared Pottery. Haruka had always been too afraid that Michiru would laugh in her face, make fun of her, that she'd just outright reject her, so she'd never asked her out before. This was her chance...
After dinner, they'd taken a romantic boatride at the lake, and thats when they had their first kiss. That first kiss that had always left the both of them begging for more, the day the both of them had figured it out. And a week after that, they'd discovered themselves as Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus, and that had only deepend their feelings.
                          ...................................................
Michiru had awakend from her memory induced dream. She had fallen asleep on her desk. She laid her head on her arms, sobbing.
            "H-H-Ha-Haruuuka... Wh-wh-why'd-d you d-d-do th-this t-to m-me?!" She cried."You a-and y-ya-your..."
She didn't finish. There was nothing bad she could say about her lover. Other than the fact that she was a HORRIBLE womanizer, but she was really in love with her.
'I...I've got to cut her off. I can't put myself through this everytime I see Haruka with another woman, it's inevitable. If I don't see her in a week, everything will be fine... I just need to not think about her.' Michiru thought to herself, and shoved the scrapbook into the wall. Not the wall, the mirror that was on the wall, and cracked it. A shard fell out and landed on the top of her left hand, cutting it. She went downstairs to the kitchen to get herself a band-aid, opening the drawer she found one and put it over the cut, the cut that was small even though the shard that had fallen onto her hand was actually a pretty good size. She went back upstairs and collapsed on her bed, her face in her pillow. She was crying again, she couldn't help it. Her love was too overwhelming, it was too... sad. She desperately wanted to go back to Haruka, to pull her into a passionate kiss, and for Haruka to apologize to her, and for them to make up. That can't happen. This was best for her, Tai wouldn't cause her this much pain. She flipped over to her side, and stared at the moon until she finally fell asleep around three in the morning.
                                                   *
Haruka teetered as she got up, with extra help from the isle counter, and she stumbled, hiccuping. She kicked the three wine bottles that lay sprawled out on the floor. She was incredibly dizzy, and she was INCREDBLY emotional.
"D-damn you Michiru..." She said, and fell down the apartment stairs. She didn't realize she was that drunk, but she stood up anyways, and she put on her helmet. She crookedly stumbled out to her motorbike, and got on. She sped off, and she crashed a mile away from Michiru's house, into a tree. The same tree that on their third date, Haruka had carved a heart and H+M in the middle, a heart that was now a little faded, but still perfectly legible...
