Oh, this is simply stunning! I don't know how to be more advanced about critiquing it than that, since I don't know how you were able to make it... isn't it mostly chance?

I wish I knew how to make fractals; we only spent maybe a day on it back in high school, and that was a while back XD I know there's a formula for every fractal, but is it just chance over what comes out on the screen, or are there certain ways of getting say, stars out of it and getting the colors to land where you want? I'd love to try my hand at this if I just new how ^x^;

No, it's not mostly chance. A team of monkeys sitting at a computer could make a good fractal image about as often as they could type a Shakespeare play.

There are definitely ways to get the shapes and colors that you want, this is not accidental. It has 17 layers of fractal shapes and colors, merged together in a pleasing way.

Now before you throw up your hands in dismay, I suggest you go to www.ultrafractal.com and download the free trial version. Go through the tutorial, and you'll see (a) what I mean about not being chance, and (b) how easily you could learn to do it too.

Try it, you'll like it

And thank you for the very nice compliment!
