It's ok, I don't make a very good teacher eitherΒ Β
But yeah, Muro can be a pretty tough program to get to do what you want. It still frustrates me all the time even though I'm pretty used to it. The best way I found to improve at it is just by doing lots of still-lifes and such.

Well I actually don't find Muro frustrating.
I'll use your tip though of drawing still life and such.

Oh my gosh, Tails' nose/snout and cheeks have a the shape of a banana or an eggplant.
Did you intend to do that or is it unintentional?Β causeΒ it'sΒ quite amusing.
I also like the 1930's Mickey Mouse like eyes, they look quite nice, though maybe they go a little too high and into Tails' ears.
The rest of the stuff here like the colors, background and lightning/shading are well done too.

Most aren't going to spend the effort and I can see why when it would be more effectively spent in a better program. For me the challenge of making something nice using crappy programs/materials is part of the fun.
