HAYOOOO LOOK WHAT I'M FINALLY GETTING DONE I worked so hard on this thing good god these guys are so much fun but are complete ASSHOLES
I'll add pictures of the whisps and stuff laterrr
--------
General
Waazii are basically cosmic beings capable of traveling through dimensions and manipulating energy. Rather than eating normal food items they use their portal abilities to collect souls to sustain them. They do not kill those who are not yet ready to die. They instead take the souls from the recently dead and dying, ending any suffering someone is experiencing. Often times they will carry an amount of special gemstones around with them to store souls in for later use.
Mating is a big event for the general population. Throughout the year couples will court each other and then at one of the annual 'mating events' (happens three times a year) the courting couples will engage in a very high-energy fight in a much larger dimension, often times in the space between planets and galaxies. The fight begins with eye contact and mutual consent. Throughout the fight the couple learns more about each other, such as their limits and bits and pieces of who they are. The fight ends when one admits defeat or is too weak to continue. From there the two continue to the winning party's home, again with mutual consent, and spend the next few days stripped of their exo's together. During these few days they swap memories over mental link and get to learn their partner better. By the time they are finished they both have to decide on if they will become lifetime lovers. If yes then they both swap a small portion of their soul with the other's and gain a streak of their mate's color in their crest (flow as well for neutrals and females). Waazii from different Domains can mate, but their offspring will be from the winning partner's Domain.
After mating and exchanging soul pieces the pair can communicate no matter the distance and will always be able to find each other. They are always in the other's mind so they can speak and allow emotions and memories flow seamlessly between them.
Most Waazii are pansexual.
It is extremely rare for Waazii to mate with anyone other than Waazii. Very few cases have been recorded.
Breeding is a very simple process. They lack any kind of genitalia so couples go to their Imperial and ask permission for an egg. From there the Imperial takes a soul from the tree of Life (which belongs to the Life Imperial) and forms a hard shell around it. The couple then must decide who will carry the egg inside their exo until it hatches and reaches a year of age.
Each gender has it's own set of traits. Over several millennium they have adopted traits that they have observed from other species and have started using them to create their own genders with different physical appearances.
Female - Larger chest area (not breasts. They do not have flesh.), very thin waist, large hips, long flow (skirt), extra gem at the throat, two small gems beside the soul/energy stones on Imperial and Guard only, always has antennas, single forearm band on both arms, gold/yellow third color.
Neutral - Smaller chest area (not flat but not super obvious), somewhat thin waist, decent hips, partial flow, extra gem at the throat and occasionally another on the lower part of the exo, 50/50 chance of having antennas, two arm bands in any arrangement on both arms, white/silver/light grey third color (dark grey/dark navy on Guards).
Male - Flat chest, no extra gems, regular waist, thin hips, 35/30/35 chance of horns/nothing/antennas, dark grey/dark navy third color (White/silver/light grey on Guards)
Waazii live in their own separate pocket dimension, away from planets and galaxies. Nearly all of the Waazii live in this one dimension, with the exception of the small fraction who have decided to live outside of the dimension. In this dimension all the Waazii mix and mingle during most daily activities, regardless of their Domain. A Domain is similar to a kingdom and is ruled by no more than three Imperials at a time.
There are four Domains, Life, Death, Terra, and Spatial.
The Life Domain handles all things pertaining to life: creating/maintaining life, maintaining populations, recording history, keeping peace, ect. If there is no Death Imperial then the Life Imperial will take over until one is made.
The Death Domain handles things relating to death: creating/spreading disease, managing wars, causing famine, destroying populations/worlds, recording history, managing lifelines, ect.
The Terra Domain works with anything involving planets: providing habitats, managing seasons, creating planets, creating the forces for said planet, managing tectonics and natural disasters, ect.
The Spatial Domain controls everything to do with space and dimensions: forming stars, moving galaxies, watching over space travelers, guiding/creating black holes, watching over dimensions, creating solar winds, ect.
Each Domain works in collaboration with all the others and has to get a majority approval from the others before doing anything. There can only be three Imperials per Domain, twelve in all.
Waazii live in clusters of metallic-looking spheres with others of their Domain. The spheres are usually dark in color with different undertones. They are much bigger inside than outside and to get in one needs to portal inside. Only the owners and trusted others can get inside without assistance.
The anatomy of a Waazii is pretty simple. They don't have a very complicated skeleton, or even very much of one at all. Their arms and legs are just straight, black bars that have the same shine as their homes. Their hands, spine, and joints are literally just a group of small spheres that hover in line with one another and allow the appendage to move. Over top these 'bones' is a semi-solid cloud of black energy that acts almost as a skin layer which feels somewhat like faux skin. Throughout this black cloud are pockets of bright energy which is basically the energy that keeps them moving. These pockets usually stay in the chest area, around the soul, but sometimes make their way into an arm or leg. These pockets come from the souls that they eat to sustain them self. Covering the layer of black is the exo, which acts as extra support so they can stand easier and give their body some form of defense. The exo has different part and comes in many different designs. The 'hair' on a Waazii is called a crest and comes in many different colors and sizes. It acts a lot like smoke and just goes where it wants but never settles like hair. On females and neutrals the flow of energy that covers the legs is called a flow and, like the crest, behaves somewhat like smoke and just goes where it wants, but it never leaves the legs uncovered unless it it pulled back in. Some waazii have glassy-looking eyes with no pupils while others have regular, shiny eyes with light or dark colored pupils.
Waazii exo's are enchanted to be stronger and to bind to be able to hold the cloud of energy that makes up their body without passing through it.
Mundies and Guards occasionally do leave their own dimension to live elsewhere or just for the sake of exploring. Rather than going as they are they create a kind of disguise, a 'skin', that make them look a bit more normal. These skins shrink their size down to something more manageable (no more than 7 feet). These skins can have a variety of skin tones and features: hair, horns, antennas, markings, noses, ears, four arms, three/four eyes, ect. They never leave the dimension without having one on and almost never take it off.
Occasionally a young Mundie will break away from their Domain during their schooling years and become an Outsider. These Outsiders are not nearly as powerful as a normal Mundie, however if they leave as an adult they can potentially be as powerful as they were in a Domain. They can learn to possess a living creature. Some prefer to completely take over and control the body, terminating the soul already contained in it and claiming it as their own. Others will strike a deal with the owner and live alongside the soul in the body on the terms that the owner's soul will be absorbed into the Waazii when they pass. The advantage to this is that the Waazii does not have to worry about collecting souls for energy and can live on regular food items.
Outsiders are not banned from returning to their home dimension, but they are not allowed to return to their Domain. Occasionally another Domain will take them in, but that will require the Outsider to learn all of the spells for that Domain. They are also allowed to mate with Guards and other Mundies still attached to a Domain.
Outsiders still carry the 'Do not kill the living unless they are minutes from dying' moral. No exceptions.
Imperials cannot become an Outsider because they are bound to their Domain and can not stay outside their home dimension for long periods of time (a week at most). Guards cannot become an Outsider for the same reason, but are capable of staying out as long as they want so long as they come back when they are needed.
Regular people (Irkens, vorts, humans, jackers, anyone) CAN be brought into the Dimension as long as they pose no ill will towards anyone and agree to be under constant watch. They can't, however, live in the dimension.
Waazii can not bring people back from the dead nor can they extend their lifespan or tell them how long they have to live if they know. No exceptions.
-------------
Top row - Imperial
The Imperial is by far the most powerful of the three types. They lead their respective Domain and watch over the Guards and Mundies in their Domain. They decide what projects need done and monitor the dimensions surrounding them.
Mundies are the only ones able to become Imperials. It is extremely difficult to become an Imperial, since one has to be able to memorize everything about their Domain and all the others, as well as master some of the most complicated spells. Very rarely does anyone actually achieve this and many have actually died attempting the spells.
If an Imperial has a Mundie mate the two will be forcefully separated so they can become an Imperial. This has also caused many to die, mainly from heartbreak.
The ceremony of becoming an Imperial is more for show than anything. Every other Imperial present offers them a gift of good will and helps the new Imperial dress into their new Exo as a sign of trust among them. Afterwards the new Imperial is to report to their new quarters to get settled in with their guards and servants.
Each Imperial has a set of ten guards always with them. Nine of them switch off in threes while the last one is similar to an adviser and is at the beck and call of their Imperial.
The adviser and the Imperial always swap a teeny tiny portion of their souls so they can always have contact, but not have it be so intimate as a mate.
They all live in one massive palace, though the Life and Death Imperials have two massive trees in the center courtyard for them, their servants, and their guards to live in. The two trees have branches that twine together to allow energy and souls to pass from one to the other. The Life tree holds all of the newly formed souls and the souls of the deceased. The newly formed souls are ones of fetuses and infants, which will transfer to the Death tree after a certain period of time. If a soul forms on the Death tree then the owner of said soul will die as an infant or fetus. After a soul is transferred to the Death tree it will stay there for the duration for the soul's life and then will return to the Life tree to be recycled.
Most Imperials have some sort of title attached to their name. Lady, Sir, My Imperial, Lord, Miss, are some of them but there are others that have been used.
Imperials have an almost infinite lifespan. Some occasionally do decide to put their soul back into circulation (pretty much kill themselves) after they feel they have lived long enough. Occasionally they do die off naturally from overworking themselves and not taking a chance to rest.
They can have any third color they want and it still acts as a super conductive material in case they need to defend them self.
Imperials can mate with other Imperials and Guards only.
The average height for an Imperial is 7-9 feet.
--------------
Second row - Guards
From the time of hatching it's known whether a whisp (called such until age 7) will be a Guard or a Mundie. Generally, when a whisp hatches, the thick, solid shell will dissolve. If not then that whisp is to be a guard and the leftover shell becomes part of the staff handle or the blade, depending on personal preference.
Once the Whisp turns seven it is sent off to train and study to become an official Guard for their Domain.
After they are fully trained they are assigned to their Imperial and given two partners that they will rotate with, bunk with, and pretty much become attached at the hip to.
Guards are the second most powerful type. To help keep their power levels up they wear replaceable gems on their shoulders, hips, thighs, and calves. Their third color is made of a special material that makes it super conductive. It's always on the full length of their fingers and make it easier for energy to be pulled in or cast out of their hands. The third color is placed all around their body to help absorb, reflect, or expel energy when needed.
Guards can mate with Mundies, Guards, and Imperials.
The average height for a Guard is 6-7 feet tall.
---------------
Bottom row - Mundies
Mundies are basically the working class. They go and study for most of their adolescent life at a large university. Once they become a full adult they get their own home and are able to start searching for a mate.
Throughout their life they continue to study and participate in projects for their Domain. Many of them live for a few centuries and then put their soul back into circulation.
Mundies can mate with Guards and other Mundies
The average height for a Mundie is 5-6 feet tall.

Displays of affection and Skins and etcetera
Waazii have different ways they display affection. General exo-to-exo contact is considered to be platonic and friendly. If two Waazii remove their exos and have any kind of contact it's considered to be completely taboo unless done between mates, where it becomes something extremely intimate. Light headbutts and cheekrubs are basically their way of kissing while any form of physical contact with the exo on is similar to a hug.
Waazii, when leaving their dimension for extended periods of time, wear a disguise called a skin. A skin is predetermined and can't be changed drasically. Haircuts and tattoos and piercings are really the only things they can change and it has to be done the normal way, no magic can be involved to change it. Their hair can be dyed but it's not widely accepted to do so, since it's natural color would be a muted or darker shade of their crest's main color. Skin color usually stays inside the black-white range but sometimes does have a slight color tint to it. Eye color stays the same as does the shape and type of eye. Overall bodytype can vary greatly as well as looks. Digitigrade legs are fairly common. Different features like noses, separate toes, claws, multiple eyes, fangs, ect are all somewhat uncommon and random. Their height will stay around the same size, only increasing or decreasing by a couple inches. Blood color ranges from black to white, though Waazii with tinted skin will have blood with the same tint.
Since they can't wear their exo while wearing a skin a Waazii will wear multiple layers of clothes and cover as much skin as possible. Skin-tight bodysuits are commonly worn under clothing since they hug the body much like an Exo and make the other clothes more comfortable to wear. Gloves, turtlenecks, long pants, scarves, and boots are pretty commonly worn to cover the most skin. The head is usually left uncovered but some do choose to keep it covered to avoid accidental skin-on-skin contact. Removing any clothing past the first layer around anyone who isn't their mate is absolutely tabboo. Touching their skin or attempting to remove any of their clothes without is also forbidden.
While wearing their skin their sense of touch is twice as sensitive since they no longer have their hard exo to defend them. This makes interaction between two mates slightly more difficult due to some of the rougher displays of affection. The extra sensitivity can be a bonus, though, since skin-on-skin contact is much more pleasureable and usual nude cuddling gives a greater sense of protection and safety.
Some Waazii never fully get the hang of certain things with their skin such as speaking, writing, dealing with the extra sensitivity, or walking without some kind of aid. More often than not a Waazii will also forget that it needs to eat foods that are not souls and drink as well as sleep out of necessity rather than for fun.
After the initial fight the winner takes up the dominant role in the relationship and the loser becomes the submissive. The dominant's main role/duty is to protect their partner from harm or other potential suitors while their submissive goes about their day. The submissive has no specific duties or roles aside from letting their dominant to defend them and being able to fill any duties their dominant can't.
Rough play is common between couples. It's mainly the dom exerting their dominance over their sub by pinning them down or engaging in a mock fight. The dom also assures the sub of their safety with this kind of play. An unsecure sub will often challenge on their dom with faux displays of dominance like pushing or trying to tackle them until they are pinned and assured of their position and safety. Waazii with skins often have many bruises from rough play.

About the Oc's pictured
Top row: Xhasta, Vandra, Lady
Xhesta is one the Terra Imperial. He's a first-class asshole, especially to Lady. He believes that the Terra Domain is superior to all others, especially life, because Life needs terrain to survive in and without a home there is no life. This isn't true, since the Spatial is the most powerful and ranks above them all.
Vandra is the Spatial Imperial. They're pretty nice and fair to everyone, never picking favorites and is the one to keep a level head. They feel sorry for Lady and scold Xhesta for bullying her so much and is the one to stop him when it gets too violent.
Lady is the one and only Life Imperial and the youngest of them all. She's very proper and super sweet to others. After she became Imperial her title became 'My Lady' to any Guard or Mundie. After centuries of being called only this she ended up forgetting her own name and started going by 'Lady'. Eventually she
Middle row: Sona, Oorma
My Sona is actually what started the whole Guard class. I wanted to draw my sona as a Waazii and after it was finished I decided that I liked the design enough to build a class around them. They are a part of the Spatial Domain but are free floating and prefer to just travel around.
Oorma is a guard for the Life Domain who has chosen to not live inside their home dimension and instead found a home on Rural Irk in a small village. There he worked as a medic and rather than using all magic he learned how to use herbs and natural resources, with a few small spells here and there, to heal others. Eventually he found a mate in Shia'Tun, a Neptonian medic who jumped from her home in the village to her home at the shipyard on Irk. Together they had three kids together; two girls and a boy.
Last row: Ainen, Nebula, Unnamed Female.
Ainen is an Outsider Mundie who used to be a part of the Life Domain. He was Lady's previous mate when she was still a Mundie and still has a deep connection with her, occasionally visiting her when he can. After they were separated he decided to become an Outsider. His new mate, Nebula, gladly goes with him to visit her.
Nebula is also an Outsider. They were once from the Spatial Domain but after meeting Ainen and mating with them they decided to break away too so they could travel together. They respect Ainens previous bond with Lady and doesn't hold it against him and even tags along to visit her.

ohhh boooy
HOOO BOY
I REALLY WANNA MAKE AN OC
MY ONLY QUESTION IS WHAT IS A THIRD COLOR?
I thought it was only for coloring the characters but it looks like theres more to it?
Also, would it be anatomically correct if i were to draw their body like a human body, or would i have to make adjustments?

I'm so glad you're excited about them ;v;
A 'third color' is quite literally a third color, but it also acts as a conductor for energy, especially in the hands and fingers. It's usually placed between smaller gaps in the armor, at the kneecaps, and on the U or V shaped plates on the lower torso (the plates that cover the crotch). The regular plates that they wear are more for protection and giving them shape rather than conducting energy, so the third color takes over the job of conducting. Without it any spell they try to use would not be as powerful and would take up much more energy to do, since most of it would go into the exo to force it to conduct.
As for the anatomy...human like anatomy would be correct still, though they still would have the pointed feet. Females would have waists that were slimmer but not extremely so, since how thin they are can vary between individuals and between art styles.
I hope I answered your questions! ;v;

Hmmm okie dokie..
I was just confused because I never seemed to notice a third color on the female Imperial, Lady.
Was that intentional or am I misunderstanding something in the whole concept?

Lady's third color is the lighter pink on her shoulders, arms, and V-shaped plate
