After sleeping another couple of hours, it was noon now, and you held Sollux's hand as you stood in the Movie Theater lobby. You and Melody had agreed on going to the movies rather than anything else, and you also agreed on leaving Collin home. It was a bit rude, but after yesterday, he kinda deserved it. After all, your parents are home, so it shouldn't be too much trouble! Anyways, the theater was really cool! It wasn't any regular theater, it showed movies that were long out of them, years old at best. Melody was in front of you two, money in her hands. She acted parental, though it was /still/ funny to know she was only twelve. Almost ironic, really. A twelve year old buying things and acting like a parent for those older than her. Forget funny, it was downright cute and adorable.

"What movie are we seeing?" you beamed at Sollux, who chuckled.

"You'll thee." he said simply, whispering something in Melody's ear. She made a face and chuckled, rolling her eyes.

"Right Sollux." she nodded, walking over to the ticket booth. Okay, you were interested.

Within the next thirty minutes you deadpanned. There was a line to get in the screening room.

And what better movie to see with Sollux than...The Bee Movie...? Oh god that's it. You're done with this story.

I don't wan to go into details about that movie. It just sucks. Look it up on Wikipedia. :u

Anyway yeah movies and honey and bees that fall in love with people apparently? Yeah let's go with that, hm?

You shared some caramel coated popcorn with Sollux, as well as a few kisses. He digs you and you dig him. Love at first type if you don't say so yourself!

Though, as we all know, the movie theater STRONGLY (sorry) enforces the no cell phones on, yours buzzed rapidly. So did Melody's. Well, Sollux's didn't. He turned his off! Because Sollux is a gentle troll!

Luckily by then, the credits were running. You hurried out of the room and checked your cell, eyes widening. 911 had called you three times. Melody had the same look on her face when you looked at her gape-mouthed. You swallowed awkwardly and rubbed the back of your neck.

"It says whatever occurred was at your house." Melody whirred, frowning.

"Thit, I hate to thay it, but I hope your brother ith okay..." Sollux huffed.

"I do too..." you pursed your lips, and burst into a run out of the building. Which, whether handy or not, is relatively close to your home. You had to wait around five minutes because you wanted Melody and Sollux to catch up. Guardians and possible matesprits are important!

Wait no he pretty much is your matesprit. After all, what more proof do you need that admitting love and kissing over twelve times? Exactly, nothing! He's your matesprit, yes!

After waiting you grabbed their wrists and went into a sprint rather than a run. Once you reached your house you wanted to cry. Melody clicked and whirred, smoke coming out of her eyes, which highly disturbed the policemen. You, rather shakily, explained what was up with her doing that so they paid her no mind. You, however, were an emotional wreck. Your sobs were shaky, sniffles coming in a lot. Sollux held you softly, sighing to himself. This was horrible. Worse than the movie (though Sollux enjoyed it a lot). The thing is, there are two kinds of horrible.

Expected horrible and unexpected horrible.

This was unexpected.

"Wh-what do I do...?" you looked a police man who shook his head.

"Well since your parents are dead and we can't find your brother, you and your 'sister' will have to live with someone else. Sorry ___. You have two days to pack your bags before going to a house. Any volunteers you may know?"

"I-I'll take her and Melody! I'm truthtworthy!" Sollux smiled gravely, looking to the officer's eyes.

"Fine then. Two days." he huffed. "Oh god... Change it from two to three..." You let out a whimper and tilted your head, looking around. Why three days? Another soley for grief? Wait, what about Collin? They said they couldn't find him but...

"Oh my god!" you screeched, eyes filling with more tears at what you saw. Collin had blood stains on his shirt, even more on his head, and his eyes were closed. He was dead.

Someone killed your family.

"Thhhhh, thhhh." Even Sollux shushing you was making you squirm. Nothing could help you. "I- I juthed remembered I have to thee my dancethtor, I can't take care of you right now..." he sighed.

"Nepeta or Aradia will do then." Melody clicked. "They both make good material."

"AA will do." he stroked your hair, looking at the sky. "Of courthe."

You looked up, black cloud hung in the air. Of course indeed.
