That's so darn cute, & original!

And I love the story. You're right, a dog should just "happen" to come by you. There's something a little more special about it that way. You both end up appreciating each other more than if you just picked them out.

And, too bad parents aren't that way, LOL

You are very welcome.

As soon as I make a link to Mars, I am out of this world, LOL.

Hmmmm, good question. Then we get into metaphysics and questions of whether this is all an illusion.
But, I am in this world. It just may not be the one everyone else is on

seeing all your work has made me want to get into stuff like this. I can't now because I live in a little apartment and have no room for this kind of work... but when we move in a year or so I really want to get started on this kind of thing. Do you have any tips? I really love what your doing... your so creative

Thanks, it means a lot to hear your reaction to my work. We all have our paths into the many fields of expression. I started working with my dad, who was a jewler, at age 8. By the time I was to leave for college, I vowed never to do jewlery again; so, I majored in art. I painted and printed for years. Showing in as many cities as I could, and when I met Lora, who owned a bead shop, I just picked up some tools and started using metal and rocks as my canvas of expression.

It is relatively cheap, as long as you don't go gadget or equiptment crazy. Humans have worked with metals using oil lamps, wood tools, and iron tools since we stood upright. So, you just need little to get started. An inquisitive mind is always a great place to start

Thanks again

Very nice Michael... a very sweet and clever idea. It's nice to see you put so much thought and heart into making a locket for Lora to remember Cosmo by

I like to put all of my love into Lora. I mean things I do for Lora. I mean I like to put all of my heart into things for Lora. Or, all of the above

It's a lovely locket. A very nice idea, too; I kept some of my dog's hair when he passed.

Thank you, and I really wish I had kept some of my previous dog's hair, he was really special. My dog now is not the brightest crayon in the box, but he is still young yet. But, he is gradually comming into his own ledgends.

I really love the story behind this, it's very sad, but this locket is so sweet.

Thank you, I find it tough to write sappy without sounding sarcastic. I was hoping for the right blend of humor and honor. Cosmo was a special dog.
