Description I have never realized how hard clouds were until today... it took me FOREVER to figure it out. Also, this was supposed to be simple, with simple line art, but, you know, I got carried away xD This is Jessica in her highschooler AU!!

Today was indeed an adventure... I spent the day celebrating a good friend of mine's birthday, and closed the day by watching Nocturnal Animals (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT) It was brilliantly written, with VERY STRONG symbolism that was in literally every scene. The movie made me realize the strength of being an artist and writer a like... and that our fate truly falls into our hands. ok ok Im sorry, but, it was just SO GOOD. Anywho, it was a good day, but a long day nonetheless. I'm exhausted and so happy to be back in my little cozy room ;v;Β

Anyway - I love the brushstrokes in the clouds! It's really well done imo

Love the feel of the piece, it's really illustration-esque XD and how the curves in her hair echo the clouds

I heard of Nocturnal Animals but never got around to watching it haha *adds it to my watch list

and can't find the butt to save my life :'D

Aaaahh gosh I love this piece so much!!! It seems so tranquil and contemplative but then the more you look at the the more you see these subtle details like the knife and blood and the entire meaning flips o:

(Like her true, more serious nature) that her physical body may be pristine but some cues lead you to realize that she's anything but. the pretty & calm sky and then dark twist of how her hand's all bloody
