I don't think anyone, including myself, can get over how amazing this beast's battle theme (Dialga's Fight to the Finish!) is. It sure is one of many examples that come to mind when you think of epic video game music.

other abilities: it can wipe almost anything from time itself with it's tachyonic clock hand spear. which strikes acausally at FTL speeds, it can also use it's other attacks in an acausal way before anyone can react, it's corrupted tail in time could send anyone into a cataclysmic cyclone of shifting timelines, can use it's halo to make any object shift between different timeline versions, can fuse many timelines into a corrupted one, can create a massive abstract "clock" made of corrupted tachyons which manipulates the probabilities and future fates of everything ala King Crimson, etc.

imagine this being a potential dark future self of Dialga, the Primal one corrupts and destroys time while the normal Dialga creates and controls time in order.

great work on making Primal Dialga look like a corrupted cosmic horror!.

deep within Dialga's dimension there lies a extratemporal structure made of extradimensional matter called the Temporal Tower, it is unfathomably tall and it is where countless amounts of time gears are found, these gears keep control of the flow of time, however if anyone tries to steal those gears time will end up going haywire, essentially causing dangerous temporal paradoxes across the Universe, if large amount of gears end up being stolen Dialga will become Primal Dialga, in which it's composition is severely decayed in time, with it's vast consciousness feeling like a storm of damaged timelines, it's powers could involve sending opponents and planets to horrific timelines with it's Roar of Time, stopping time while keeping opponents in eternal agony, de-aging planets and stars into dust, rapid aging certain stars to explode in a supernova, trapping people and celestial bodies in chaotic and eternal time loops, summoning even more corrupted temporal clones of Primal Dialga from 3 minutes into the future, creating anomalous black holes that accelerate and reverse time in incomprehensible speeds, etc.

Primal Dialga is a dangerous threat to the cosmos, and in my headcanon only Arceus managed to stop the Primal Dialga by sending a past Dialga to confront the present Primal Dialga, because in the future Primal Dialga will become a Giygas-like horror that succeeded in destroying and completely stopping the flow of time in the Universe after every single time gear was stolen.
