Mhm, I played up the doll aspect more. c:

and it looks more like a fairy-esque imitation of a Pikachu, Mimikyu may be tired of all this pikaclone craze with each clone being fatter (looking at you Togedemaru), also i can imagine that squiggle face of the rag to be made of ectoplasm and it can change emotions .

i love how the the lightning bolt-shaped stick tail now looks sharp as a butcher knife, but from the position it is holding the stick or the stick is still connected like a tail?.
anyway Mimikyu is notable for attacking foes with it's shadowy claws that can phase through anything, also i can imagine Mimikyu would be the better user of the z-move Never-Ending Nightmare, involving the user unleashing it's deep-seated grudges in the form of a spreading pool of ectoplasm, which releases ghostly tentacles that constrict, choke and crush the enemy, then the tentacles detonate in a massive ectoplasmic explosion, damaged opponents by this move may perceive things differently and get nightmarish hallucinations.
