Name: Kinshayti Nersu

Gender: F

Personality: Kinshayti (Kin, if you dare to call her by her nickname) on the outside seems cool, collected, and a brilliant trainer, specializing in double battling and special attacks. Often silently watching a situation, she will only come in with witty remarks at opportune moments or explain things where necessary. Despite her seemingly always collected composure, however, there are obvious signs of erratic psychological behavior. Whether or not this will effect her more further on has yet to be seen.

Given the last three rounds, it's been found that she's oftentimes ruthless in battle, often making rules and then loopholing her way around them. Logic puzzles seem to be her favorite, and will often incorporate logical strategies into her battle style. She does not willingly cooperate with other trainers for a bigger goal (as shown in Round 3), often believing she is tough enough to do everything on her own- and often proving this to be true.

The Team

Name: Maelstra
Gender: F
In-Depth Personality: Being Kinshayti's first companion and (debeatably) only friend at the time she still lived at home, Maelstra formed a somewhat sheltered bond with her trainer that grew incredibly strong. A one-person Pokemon, Maelstra is not afraid to lash out to other trainers or Pokemon that dare get too close to her. Her violent outbreaks lead to her typically being kept in her Pokeball in public places, but otherwise Maelstra stubbornly occupies Kinshayti's ankle space or lap like the overly friendly cat. Not that Kinshayti minds, as her Vaporeon is very quiet and doesn't disturb her when she sleeps.
History: Like other members of her family, Kinshayti was given an Eevee egg when she was young. Very shortly after she hatched, Kinshayti got her hands on a Water Stone, and after a bit of research, she evolved her into a very young Vaporeon. Given Kinshayti's general awkwardness around her family, she always confided to Maelstra. Through many years of this and training, the Vaporeon has become her strongest and most beloved Pokemon in her team.

Name: Dante
Gender: M
In-Depth Personality: Perhaps Kinshayti's most violent Pokemon, moreso than even Maelstra, Dante knows what he wants and how to get it in battle; adamant is an understatement given how stubborn and hardy Dante is. However, with stubbornness tends to come patience. He is very loyal to Kinshayti, and will hold himself back even if angered at her command, but the second he is left off the leash, he takes a Gyarados-like demeanor.
History: Born in the shadows of Mt. Silver, Dante led a life of typical solitude until he was captured by a commission 'catcher' for Kinshayti. Very difficult to train, it was only with Maelstra's endless help with water training that Dante became a strong Tyranitar and extremely loyal to Kinshayti.

Name: Thor
Gender: M
In-Depth Personality: Thor is a bit of an enigma, standing out as one of the more calm members of Kinshayti's team despite his species. Perhaps it's the fact that he's used more as a strategic doubles Pokemon meant to absorb attacks rather than attack mercilessly. Used as a steed more often than not to travel longer distances, Thor would prefer to graze rather than to battle.
History: Imported to the Safari Zone in Kanto, Kinshayti was able to catch Thor after many failed attempts. Originally shafted for her borrowed Electabuzz, Thor was brought back into the team three years ago and trained extensively since then. However, the Zebstrika still remains the weakest member of her team.

Name: Lilac
Gender: F
In-Depth Personality: Quick decisions based on overzealous confidence and ego are what Lilac lives off of. Given how easily Lilac recovers from special attacks and a lack of confusion guaranteed to her, this supposedly dainty grass type is not afraid to mess it up with the other members of Kinshayti's team. She seems to think a lot of herself, and often gets in quabbles with Maelstra in terms of beauty.
History: A present from one of her family members that had travelled to Unova, Lilac lived in Pinwheel Forest until she was captured. High of herself, she only battled beside Kinshayti given her battling prowess at the time. She still seems reluctant to obey every order her master gives out, but secretly she does care about Kinshayti.

Name: Guinevere
Gender: F
In-Depth Personality: Coming from a place of abuse, Guinevere, much like her name alludes, is elusive and prefers to remain in her Pokeball. Although grateful to Kinshayti for rescuing her and being able to sense how nice most trainers are, she still doesn't trust the majority of trainers and will refuse to fight them. However, if urgent or forced, she will not hesitate to use her huge power against an opponent, especially to protect Kinshayti.
History: Originating in Sinnoh, Guinevere was caught by a rather abusive trainer from Team Galactic. Fearing for her life, she was forced into horrendous battles and carries the sin of killing other Pokemon on her shoulders. However, thanks to one of Kinshayti's more noble siblings, she was rescued away from the man she was captivated to. Still terrified of men from her experience, the then Kirlia decided she preferred to stay by his sister's side, and he happily allowed Kinshayti to take care of her. Ever since then, Guinevere has still been fighting against her abuse and against the hidden turmoils she can sense in her trainer's heart.

Name: Kya
Gender: F
In-Depth Personality: Think she's cute? Better think again. With as much gutso as a Machamp challenging an Aggron, Kya makes sure everyone knows that she is not to be messed with. She is cocky enough to go into battle thinking that the opponent won't so much even get a hit on her, even with a type disadvantage, thanks to her infuriating nature and moveset. She's not afraid to even pick fights with Maelstra or Dante, whom always are happy to 'affectionately' try and ground the bird.
History: Wild Togepis are somewhat of a rare thing in Johto, but Kinshayi stumbled upon one early on in her adventures on the outskirts of Ecruteak. Kept more as a pet rather than an actual Pokemon, Kya eventually got fed up and started moonlight training while Kinshayti slumbered to show her she was useful in battle. After nearly drowning (only saved by Kinshayti, as she learned from Maelstra something was up with the Togepi), she evolved, deciding that if she cared enough to track her down and save her, she was worth something to her. Since then, the Togetic only got more powerful, eager to prove herself to her master.
