The title is a joking reference to how long I worked on this, "If I work on it any longer, it's going to become sentient."
I was finally able to give this to my friend. She saw me working on it at an art show and offered to buy the finished painting. Little did either of us know how tumultuous the process would be.
But it's in her hands now! Or, on her wall, really. Right under the first painting she bought from me.
