So a lot of you may know Forge from our "Search for the Lost" series, as well as basically being the mascot of our Youtube channel. Since there's only so much I can do with him when working with Gmod, this design is basically my idea of what he should REALLY look like. And since I've never really made a picture on DA focusing on him, I thought it was time to give him a Bio and stuff

Name: Forge the Android

Type: Power

Weapons: Enhanced Ring Blade, modified Volkan cannon

Allies: Silver, Blaze, Sonic and friends

Enemies: Mephiles, Eggman, Shadow

Likes: Metal Sonic models, tinkering/inventing, adventures

History:

Forge was once an ordinary Mobian who lived in the same ruined world as Silver the Hedgehog. During the time when their world was ruined by Iblis the Flames of Disaster, Forge helped Silver on quests to save as many people as they could. His tinkering skills served them well on their quests, figuring out different creative ways to get people out of dangerous situations.

After some time, Forge began to develop an illness that resulted from being exposed to deadly gases that came from the volcanic eruptions. Knowing his time was short, Forge put his inventing skills to good use and developed a robot using parts from old Metal Sonic models that he salvaged. In addition, he also invented a special chip that held a digitized version of his consciousness, and programed it to activate once his time was up. Unfortunately, he passed sooner than expected, and Silver had to wait on his digitized consciousness to activate.

A month went by after Forge's passing, and Silver eventually encountered Blaze the Cat, who became his new partner in not only helping people, but fighting against the Flames of Disaster. After figuring out a way to seal Iblis away with the power of the Chaos Emeralds, Silver lost Blaze to Iblis, as she was presumed by many to be dead. 3 months after that, Silver was very joyful to finally come across Forge, reborn as the android of his design. After learning about how their world was saved, Forge was brought up to speed about the new issue of Silver's missing friend. Silver and Forge then embark on the quest that will unravel more than they initially thought...

Salvaged Pieces:

Metal Sonic 3.0

As mentioned, Forge is built from components of several different Metal Sonic designs. The head and torso were salvaged from an advanced Metal Sonic 3.0 model that once belonged to Eggman Nega; however, the standard jet engine was replaced with Extreme Gear Anti-Gravity tech to allow for more controlled flying as opposed to fast flying.

Silver Sonic

The arms and right hand come from a small version of the Silver Sonic model, giving Forge very powerful mobility while in hand-to-hand combat

Mecha Sonic

The lower legs were taken from the earlier Mecha Sonic model to aid with controlled flight. Like the main engine, they have been refitted with anti-gravity flight stabilizers.

Mecha Sonic II

The left hand came from the Mecha Sonic mk. II model, which has also been converted into a multi-barrel Volkon cannon. The right eye is also from this model, and helps Forge with his targeting system.

E-100 Unit

The targeting eyepiece installed on Forge's right eye was salvaged from an unused E-100 series robot. This highly advanced targeting system allows Forge to take out enemies with excellent accuracy.

Ring Blade

On his right hand, Forge is equipped with a Ring Blade similar to what Sally Acorn used. Unlike Sally's ring blades, these have been modified to have stronger cutting power, which had the drawback of being unable to change shape

Weaknesses

Contrary to most Metal Sonic models, Forge has put more emphasis into power and durability as opposed to speed, and though he can keep up with Silver and Blaze to an extent, his top speed isn't nearly as fast as Metal Sonic. His battery life is also somewhat limited, but can regain power from other electronics via energy siphoning technology.
