Description
And here she is! I think I’m finished for now. My plan is to mould, cast, and then paint her, but over the next little while. Super happy with the outcome though! She’s about 14cm tall, and is sculpted in Monster Clay (not chocolate!)Jodariel from Supergiant Games’ new title, Pyre! So so so so excited for this game! I know this is totally premature, but JenZee makes such enticing characters, I couldn't help myself!

She looks amazing, wow! I love her face especially, the expression is great. You usually sculpt in Super Sculpey, right? Did you enjoy Monsterclay more or is it kinda similar?

Thank you so much! I usually use monster clay to sculpt, and I much prefer it to super sculpey. That being said, I'll use super sculpey for one offs and it works pretty well. MC is more waxy feeling and more firmer than SS. I find SS really gummy and hard to work with. MC is great for bulking and forming when it's warmer, and you can do great detail work when it's colder/firmer. Highly recommend it!

It's awesome stuff. The best part is once you have finished with your sculpt and have moulded it, you just melt it down again to reuse! You can't bake it like SS so bear that in mind. It's for sculpting pieces that you will mould and cast.

That's one part i was a bit "worried" about but if it handles really great besides that i may be able to work with it anyway.
One last question i gotta bother you with (because you actually reply and that's super great) : How hard does monsterclay really get when it's cold? Because when i make molds i like to do brush on molds and i would be worried about smudging or ruining things with the brush :0

It's pretty firm, you'd be fine doing brush on moulds, just be wary about brushing on too hard! Like working with wet clay, you just have to be careful.
