You mentioned blending with the water brushβ¦Do you have any idea how to do something like that on Photoshop?

blending in photoshop - the way I do it - requries a lot of changing of opacity and hardness of your brush constanly to achieve different sorts of blending - there is no such easy way like in SAI. I know some people use the smudge tool to blend but it never looked pretty to me so I don't use it.

Alright. Thank you. Maybe I can find a custom brush somewhere that'll do the job.

from my experience photoshop handles color differently than SAI so it is unlikely you will find a brush that works like the waterbrush in SAI ^^ on the other hand it is not hard to blend in PS if you take the time to learn it - and it works with the very basic brushes

I see you have a lot of brushes, my SAI doesn't have some of your brushes, did you make them?

I didn't create new brushes, I simply tweaked the ones that were already there, duplicated them, changed settings and such. All the brushes I have can be created with SAIs basic brushes and changes to the settings ^^

Sounds useful.
I just gave up with the magic wand tool of SAI.
It usually select ALL what's inside the canvas.

that happens if you try to select on the wrong layer or your lines are not closed - the magic wand can only recognize hard borders - a clear color change, like it is with lines^^

I usually select things on the "lines layer".And usually, my lines are black, or slightly more clear..
Maybe is becuse I -try to- do fine lines...
