Shinra snr, Lazard, and Rufus.Found this in my sketchdumps folder. Won't ever get finished, but I quite like this effect.

Rufus's expression is eyecatching, though I don't quite know what it is. Interesting picture though. Odd to have a family portrait with that much hatred!

My Rufus haaaaaaates Lazard, because headcanon has Shinra snr. using Lazard as an example to child Rufus as an example of where hard work can get you while constantly belittling Rufus himself.

Lazard didn't appear in the original game, so he had to have a good reason for why he wasn't there. I do like him too, he was a fun character. Rufus is awesome and at least he miraculously survived.

Well, you're right about Lazard & Rufus. Those two are amongst my favorite FF7 characters. I'm glad that Rufus survived. I heard that his survival was due to the fact that he suggested to add a secret escape route in the Shinra building to his dad. Also, I heard that Rufus had another brother.

I remember reading about the secret escape route, I haven't heard of the other brother though. That's probably a good thing because it would imply that the other brother was uninvolved in the family business.

Well, that is true. I heard President Shinra & Palmer use to go to the Honeybee Inn in Wall Street. There's even videos of scenes cut out of the Honeybee Inn part of FFVII. At least, Rufus & his brothers are not like their dad.
