MONTY
Species: CYNDAQUIL
Often rash, he's a Cyndaquil who smokes as a stress-reliever, causing him to be lax about most troubling things. He joins his exploration group "alone", but decides to let Maxine come along, as he was in her debt of paying the glasses which he broke during his first mission.
Overtime, he held a crush towards the bug type, to which the latter is unaware of.
He joins the Hunters' Guild because he believes that "society must be protected from those outside it who try to change it negatively."
He's currently the leader of the group, but wants Maxine to take over after training her to show initiative and to be abrasive when needed.
MAXINE
SPECIES: SEWADDLE
While intelligent and reacts to most situations quickly, she seems to not understand moral values very well because of her plain, calm and simple living and says "yes" to most things, which Monty also wants to fix. She used to wear glasses, but Monty had broken them and now she works alongside him for the Hunters' Guild to be able to pay for a new one.
In battle, she is very cunning with strategy and helps Monty defeat their opponent(s).
She is currently "Monty's partner-in-crime", or so her leader claims.
She also thinks often about Monty's queer personality, and is secretly more fascinated by him than he thinks.
She calls Monty "Senpai" because of this.

YEP, apparently that's the logic for this world...HOWEVER, sundance and the the other admins has stated that other kind accessories such as glasses will be available sometime in the future.
ON TO THE PART OF THE COMIC (Sorry for the late comment on this one too)
I've read through them al (Which you probably can tell by the faves) and overall, I really like it. Your style overall, although sketchy at times looks very smooth in general. The pages looked very comic-esque, which is good. A lot of artists that I've seen draw comic, but most of them just does not seem to get the whole idea of the comic formula. It dosen't need to be overly epic/complicated. Just try to present a story to the readers with an interesting cast of characters.
The characters too also seems to have a lot of personality, especially by just looking at their design (Such as the feraligatr) and I see that you have probably spent quite a lot of time constructing the dialogue, right? Idk, that was just my impression (Yet again, the feraligatr was my favorite)
However, if there was one thing that made me a little bit confused, it was the plot overall, maybe this is a result of me not seeing the original source material that the comic was based on (I think that you mentioned something like that on the first page) I had a hard time actually As such, I sady had a hard time understanding what was going on all the time (But from what I did understand, the thyphlosion was going to kidnap someone due to some higher authority telling him to do so? And perhaps the leavanny is the Sewaddle's mother? (sorry, I forgot the name yet again)
BUT STILL, don't feel dishearten or discouraged. It was STILL a good comic, and I'm sure that considering how it looks right now, I definitely think you have potential to create something even greater like this in the future! I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you'll feel a bit encouraged to continue working on your comic after reading this comment! (I hope so)

Dialogue is mostly stuff I pick up from American shows. XD
As for original source, er, no, it's really confusing like that. I honestly had no plot for it in the beginning, as I found PMDU later on as I wrote it. And don't worry you don't have to look at the original source--it's very different from it. :3
Ill summarize it so far: The Typhlosion is Monty, the Cyndaquil in the app, and the Leavanny is Maxine, the Sewaddle. Rocco is an old schoolmate of both, and they decide to meet during a highschool reunion to talk about the two former to work together again. I thought I established it at some point; I guess not well. :/ The other things haven't properly been revealed yet, and I aim to explain it later on, of course. This is just a summer project and I don't plan to seriously plot everything tbh; it's just an "as it goes" kind of plot. I'm glad you like it at a fair quality at least.

I imagine it would of been quite awkward to include glasses into the original list of accessories given that it almost would have had to be exclusive to one guild, and that guild would not have been the Hunters. Shame sewaddle isn't one of those pokémon that have extra senses like either of my guys.
You'd think in a larger country like Australia, where I live (but do not come from), there'd be far less US influence in our media. 5 TV networks with 20 channels (5 of which are home shopping) and almost all of them are bogged down with american reality garbage and game-shows based off of American game-shows.
