Derpy got a little bit lost delivering the mail today. c:This is my first pony sculpt with any finesse, I spent about 12 hours on it or so. She is made of polymer clay and I perched her on a nice rock I washed, buffed and sanded. Her eyes and cutie mark were painted on with a gloss enamel.
Is there a good matte or satin finish that anyone can recommend me? This particular one was too shiny, and that sort of finish just looks odd on ponies.

Sorry for the low-quality photos, the focus on my camera is uncooperative.
4 inches tall from the base of the rock to the top of the muffin, or just under 20 centimeters.
This was in the silent auction at Canterlot Gardens.

Looks great! It took me a while to find one I like. Right now I do a coat of Liquitex matte sealer and then a coat of Artisan matte varnish for a soft, satiny look.

Anyway, holy crap this is beautiful. I know nothing about Derpy at all but this sculpture is AMAZING! Seriously, it looks just like her. I love the details, the paint, the hair, the wings, the rock, the damn everything. It just looks so goooooooooooodddddddd
