Description
Snakey shed today, so I took the opportunity to take closeup photos of her shed skin. The scales look odd viewing then from the inside out.(Please do not alter, add your name, take as your own, or use as an avatar)

Judging by the shape and the width between the scales, I'm guessing that snake is big!

She's over 2mt in length, a mis sized python here in Australia. The gaps between the scales aren't visible on the python until she has a meal and the skin stretches. The shed skin therefore makes the snake look bigger than it real is.

That's very interesting. I've never owned a larger snake, but would like to someday. Is she a carpet python?
