Oh, apologies.
I might as well ask while I'm on this comment. But how can you tell the gender of a snake, or a reptile? I thought you might know. C:

Its a hard thing to determine, especially at first. One way is to look at the shed skins and see if any of them have hemipene coverings on them ('boy bits' ...and yes they have TWO) They dont always shed those with every shed so you have to look at many shed skins to be sure. Another way, often used in conjunction with the other is the size of the 'claws' by their cloaca. These are evolutionary remnants of hind legs present in python species. The male has much larger claws on little stub-like limbs. These are use in courtship. The female has the tinyist claws in comparison. The only sure way is with internal inspection called probing, but that has its risks (injury or sterilization),and should only be done by trained professionals. My Snakey shed something like a dozen or so sheds and no hemipene coverings were found. She also has barely visible claws. Another way to tell is when the femals mature (around 3 years), they are often much larger (longer and wider), than males of the same species.
