"Running Demon Lizards"

Millenia ago, a demonic beast called Bemriath, well-known in the Abyss to be a unique machine of evil and death, came to the mortal world. He was followed by a demon host, but his servants were soon eliminated, and he was forced to flee. He stayed hidden for centuries, wandering on how to take his revenge. He had the form of a giant, black and red dromeosaurid dinosaur, and it was thinking about this and observing his earthly relatives that he had an idea on how to create an army of his own. He began visiting various regions of the world, gathering the various species of dromeosaurs under his command. Once he had every one existant, he took with him a harem of queens, and began the creation of his army. Alongside the mortal raptors, came the corrupted offspring of the demon dinosaur. They soon were an army to be feared, and wreacked havock on the world for many years. Finally, they were defeated and scattered. However, Bemriath and his queens were never found. Also, some of the most powerful children of Bemriath, the Kings, had survived, and, just like their father, went on to take various mates to breed an army with. Thus were the Daemodromeosaurs born.

The most common dromeo, the Warrior, is 2 meters tall.

Just like insects, there are many different castes in this species, and each king can develop or create new ones at will. The known castes are:

1- Worker(Adasaurus): Raptor that takes care of the nest. They rarely, if never, attack, but they're very operous and strong, and tirelessy work to built, repair and extent the hive, feed the monarchs and take care of the eggs. They can crawl on walls and, eventually, magically command matter to weld or disgregate;

2- Warrior(Deinonychus): Defender of the nest and main attack unit. Warriors are fast, strong, and single-minded in obliterating the enemy. They can run, jump, climb and eventually swim. They're covered in spikes, and their sharp claws and fangs leave no escape, being able to amputate arts in a single strikes. If this was not enought, claws and teeth are covered in an anticoagulant toxin that makes the wounds bleed copiously. Hordes of warriors are the heart of a Daemodromeosaurs attack;

3- Flamer(Pyroraptor): Long rage Raptor that uses chemical substances to generate a wave of 100° hot flames. Eventually, it can concentrate the fire to obtain fireballs, or even a thin line of immense heat that can cut throug any material. The chemicals this creature uses are hot, and so the dinosaur is constantly enveloped by a 4 meters wide hot aura. This creature is very volatile and, if the two chemicals inside it collide, it'll explode in a wide wave of flames;

4- Infiltrator(Saurornithoides): Raptor created to enter deep behind enemy lines thanks to its shapeshifting abilities. This creature usually captures and kills an enemy and then takes its appearance and place. It's able to mimic clothes, but those can't be removed from it. New forms allow it to use weapons and infiltrate. It can, eventually, spit web-like substances and crawl on walls. It often works alongside Assassins and Slavers;

5-Assassin(Velociraptor): Deadly raptor specialized in stealth and stalking. It's covered in chameleonic skin that allow it to disappear. An Assassin can travel unnoticed even right through enemy lines, invisible and as silent as a ghost. They are known to have waited for days to strike, their prey not even noticing them. Once an Assassin is close enought to the target, its long claws and fangs are quick to do the job. It can crawl on walls and climb, as well as leaping unbeliavable distances. Its usually tasked with taking out a single target, but it can butcher even complete teams in seconds;

6-Swimmer(Dromaeosaurus): Raptor designed for amphibian action. It can sense and see prey even in murky swamp waters, and can swim really fast. Swimmers are known for being able to leap out of water to bite off their foe's head and disappearing almost in an instant. Their powerful tails can knock down plants and crack walls, and their jaws have nothing to envy to a shark's ones;

7-Spitter(Atrociraptor): Long rage raptor that secretes an acidic substance that can melt metal in few minutes. The acid is produced by a gland right behind the tongue, and the dinosaur's not affected by it. However, the gland produces so much acid it actually drops from the raptor's jaws. This creature is fast, and strikes with snake -like nimbleness;

8-Flyier(Saurornitholestes): Main air unit in the Daemodromeos armies, Flyers are fast and good maneuverers, and they love to swipe down the skies to tore enemies away with their sharp claws. They're strong, and can lift twice their own weight. Flyers are also used as patrol units, thanks to their eagle-like sight and flight speed;

9-Cruncher(Microraptor): Powerful raptor designed for a devastating air attack. It can, somewhat, fly and not only glide, and it swoops down on the field to hit enemies with its powerful, reinforced skull. These creature's jaws are strong enought to crunch metal, and they can make a quick work of their enemies, armored or not;

10-Darter(Unenlagia): Archer-designed raptor, whose tail can shot dozens of poisoned arrow-like darts. Darter's aim is miracolous, and rarely fails. The darts are chitinous, and once expelled, they regrow shortly after. Darters can also use their tails as melee weapons, just like jagged, poisoned whips. Their speed just makes them more dangerous;

11-Crusher(Achillobator): A breed designed for pure brute strenght. Crushers have reinforced, horned skulls, powerful muscles and sharp claws that allow them to headbutt and claw their way through enemy lines. They work as well as rams, and two or three of them can take down iron gates within minutes. Crushers can also generates blue spheres of pure plasma that can cut nearly any material. This, though, makes them higly volatile, so that they keep away from fire;

13-Tyrant(Utahraptor): Commander breed, designed to lead the other Daemodromeos to battle. Tyrants are armed with great intelligence, psychic abilities, and great stranght and speed. Their enourmous size allow them to crush enemies barely by walking, and their sharp claws and fangs can slice four medium-sized beings in a single slash. Tyrants can also biologically generate electricity, so that they can spit lightning at their enemies, and envelop themselves in an electric shield, whose voltage is enought to kill a man in an instant, an also heal them;

14-King(Megaraptor): Rulers of the Demodromeos, these creatures of immense size are unbeliavabily strong and agile, and also very fast. Kings rarely fight, preferring to stay in the nest to fertilize the eggs laid by their various concubines, but in battle, they're a titanic force with nearly no equal. They can run, leap, climb, swim and even glide. Their vestigial wings are also abe to release bolts of electricity, wile the claws are covered in poison. Kings can spit plasma and, sometimes, fire;

15-Hordeling(Variraptor): A breed designed to act as a living shield. Usually, Hordelings preceeds warriors in battle, and they're ever five times more numerous than them. Their objective is to soften the enemy ines for the warriors and, though small, these creatures are a really fearsome impact force, thanks to their bulky but fast bodies and sharp claws;

16-Slaver(Sinosauropteryx): Maybe the smallest breed, but definetly one of the most dangerous. Often carried behind enemy lines by Infiltrators, they have a nasty objective: convert enemies to their cause. Slavers are parasites that enter a host orally and invade its brain. Then, the host is virtually dead, and the little raptor is the controller of the body. The control is psychic, so the body, deprived of true life and reduced to a puppet, gradually rots away. Slavers reproduce by themselves, and a controlled body can orally expell their offspring to infect more;
