Aliases: The Serpent King, Death Incarned, Slythering Death;
Species: Ophiobasileus Mortis ('Deathly Serpent King', mostly called 'Basilisk')
Height: 100 meters

Powers

Swift- Basikill is a fast fighter, striking with deadly speed and precision. His theropod-like body allows fast movements and good running speed, as well as the ability to leap quite well. Basikill's body is however very flexible, and his reflexes allow him to dodge most attacks shifting his body in disturbing angles;

Serpent Tail- Basikill most prominent feature is surely his tail. Nearly twice the lenght of his body, this appendage is pure muscle, strong yet surprisingly light. The tail is flexible like a tentacle, and is not heavy for Basi to run around dragging it behind. However, he can still use the limb to squeeze enemies to death, or use it to move;

Adaptable- Basikill can move in both bipedal and quadrupedal posture, but his tail allows him to move in two more ways: either he slithers on the ground bending his limbs close to his body, or he rears up on his tail and lashes out with all four limbs. Basikill is also a lover of waters and spends much time bathing, even tough his presence poisons the water;

Highly Poisonous- Basikill's skin continously expels a strong poison, which makes touching the beast all but a pleasure. Also, the toxin gives off quite a repulsive smell, and evaporates easily, so that Basi is surrounded continously by an aura of poison that, while not really lethal with brief exposure, can be dangerous if inhaled for too long. Basikill's claws are also covered in the same toxin. His teeth are also poisonous, and on some occasions he's been seen spitting his venom like a Spitting Cobra. Basi is completely immune to any kind of natural toxin;

Stare of Death- As a Basilisk, Basikill has the power to induce death with a single stare. Whenever a living creatures looks into the bright yellow pits of his eyes, their brain is shut down and they slip into coma, but if the stare is kept some more, then the heart is the one stopping. Strangely, this power works slowlyer on other kaiju, requiring up to a couple minutes of direct stare to shut down the brain. Indirect exposure, such as reflection or looking at him through transparent objects, will just put the enemy into a coma. The stare also seems to be slightly hypnotic, and once met, it requires a strong will to advert the gaze. How this happens it's unknown;

Hiss of Death- On Basikill's tail is a rattle-like appendage that works exactly like that of a Rattlesnake. However, this particular weapon is made out of unknown material that, when used, releases a weird sonic wave of unknown frequence, which sounds just like a hiss. If heard from a certain distance, the sound, even if not particularly high, can stun enemies for a couple seconds. If the rattle however is close to a victim's ears, it will induce a strong paralysis, which last for an undetermined period of time. Also, this rattle is tipped with a boney stinger that can deliver Basi's poison with a painful stab;

Weaknesses

Nocturnal- While perfectly able to travel by day, Basikill does not like sunlight very much, and he doesn't need to sunbathe like other snakes, being hot-bloodied. His sight is somehow weaker by day, and this also hinders his reflexes;

Reflection- Basi is not immune to his own stare, even if his reflection redirected at him has an even slowlyer effect than that it has on other kaiju. However he avoids clear waters or any reflecting object like the plague;

Rooster's chant- Roosters seems to be the object of much hatred for Basikill. It seems that their chanting can brielfy stun him, maybe due to certain sound frequences, and it also can dissipate the effect of his rattle. Basi also hates the chant of roosters because it means the sun is about to rise;

Weak Scales- While covered with powerful toxins, Basi's skin is about as resistant as that of any other Serpent, albeith with his size's advatage;

Personality
Basikill is a typical lonely beast, albeith a beast gifted with great intellect. He is resigned to a lonely nature, given that any looking at him dies. He feels that life has rejected him, so he embraced the power of death, and he bestows it like a gift, so much that at times it appears that death is like a cause to fight for. As expected he will always kill his enemies, claiming that they've been given 'The Glorious Gift of Death'. He's very proud, sometimes arrogant, saying that 'No one can defeat death', and as such he'll do anything to prove that he's better than anyone else. He appears at time fanatic, yet most of the time he's a cold, forked-tongued calculator. He wishes nothing but the extinction of any other life form, as ultimate act of defiance towards life.

Here's my Basilisk kaiju. I tried to bend all the legendary Basi's characteristics in one, such as:

Rooster-Like: Reptile+Bird= Dino, and I went for the Dilo because its head-crests could be made into a rooster's crest;
Exapodal: It could have happened, but in the end I simply choose to give him the ability to get quadrupedal;
Giant Serpent: I gave him this huge tail to make up for the limbs;

All these mad ideas came out from talks with some friends, like Gil, to whom I wish to say thank you.

Now, Basi wishes to challenge you to a stare-fight! ;D
