Chiropterus SapiensThe Kirans are bat-like humanoids that live in the deepest caverns. They're not well known because they live far beyond the reach of most races, and bcause they're ferociously isolationists.
Kirans are blind, but they can perceive the world by echolocation. They have long, prehensile limbs and strong, folding wings. Their wings are sensible even to the slighest breeze, and allow the kirans to fly even in close environments. Kirans can climb every surface with little effort, and can even hang from ceilings. That's how thet're supposed to sleep.
Their culture is fairly unknown, but they seem to live socially in a tribal system.

The bodies of these guys are pretty cool, though they defy the laws of flight. The wings are far too short and thin to support that weight, there is a reason why an animal's wig normally is much larger and longer then it's body.
But they are your creatures and on top of that live in a magic based world, so anything is possible.
On another interesting note, this thing has eight fingers, counting there three wing fingers and the main hand. I think this is an awesome way to do it, makes it stand out from the other stereotype batpeople races out there.

Well, I know. Those wings had really been a pain, because i wanted these guys to be bat-like and to fly, but still to be able to manipulate objects in human fashion.
I tried to solve the problem by giving them little but very powerful wings and a very reduced weight. Just look at them! An adult does not weight much more than 20-30 kg. However there're 15 kg of pure muscles that allows them to flap teir wings with enought force to remain airbone.

It's just too finny to imagine them as night-hummingbirds.
