[---404 error: file not found---]
I am undefined
like the irrational variables
that rot your computer;
never quite fitting into the
neatly arranged arrays
that fragment this world
into disconcerting
congregations of 1s and 0s,
(the DNA between
my ribs does not
conform to your primal
binary code.)
[—503 eror: server overload—]
I am undefined,
an error in excess
desperately trying to exit
this (in)finite loop of
on-off signals that
consistently crashes
my delicate newtork of
conscious concerns
every time I attempt to define
who I am.
[---204 error: no content---]
I am undefined
because the illogical
statements that pour
from your keyboard mouths
insist that to be human I must
be neatly assimilated into
your grotesque models
of homogeneity but the labels that
you try to inscribe within
my messy framework of
what-ifs and void expressions
simply does not
compute
for {
I am undefined
I am undefined
I AM UN DE FINED
I aM Un&D e f i—3--n e;;; d }

Well done unique angle. I did, indeed, enjoy.

I am conflicted between two incredibly different responses to this poem, Crystallized-skies. On the one hand, I understand the original intent of this poem. It is indeed intended to to represent labels and their functions within society, and how these labels can go astray and be abused...
but as a computer programmer, the software engineer in me is currently twitching his left eye. All of these error codes are server response codes for the http protocol, and every single on of them is, well, defined. Not only that, but the descriptions and definitions of each stanza don't actually correspond to the error codes at all.
Take, for example, the lines "never quite fitting into the/ neatly arranged arrays" in the first stanza for the 404 error. That... actually has nothing to do with a 404 error. Something like that would correspond infinitely more closely to a null pointer exception, or a segmentation fault, but not a 404 error.
The same thing occurs with the -503 Server Overload error, where you have the lines "desperately trying to exit this (in)finite loop". But if you've got an infinite loop, you don't have an overloaded server. On the contrary, the idle process which runs on standby is the very definition of an infinite loop, and indicates one running at peak performance, with close to 0% load. A more appropriate error would be a deadlocked set of process threads.
As for the 204 code, this happens as a result of returning an httpResponseObject before actually flushing data to the server output stream. It's not actually an error, as any ajax call can show this code in the transaction state of a completed call, yet the call itself will still be marked with a success code of 200. Because of this, receiving a code of 204 means that the program actually did fit incredibly well within the "grotesque models of homogeneity". It's not undefined at all, but actually does indicate perfect assimilation into protocol requirements. The stanza would make perfect sense, however, if the program was doing something like de-referencing a null pointer. (Which would totally cause shit to blow up, just saying... )
So... every response code you've given here literally indicates something directly opposite to what your stanzas describe for them, and none of these codes are actually undefined. Yeah...
Having said all of that, I know that I'm being unreasonably nitpicky over what you were trying to achieve. The poem sticks to what it wants to convey, and literally everyone who reads it will understand and get the right message from what you've written, so it's only anal software devs like myself that will blanch at the technical aspects of it all, lol. xD
It really is a lovely poem. Thank you for posting it, crystallized.

I just want to take the time and say thank you. Because I don't think anyone else would have ever pointed any of this out to me nor explained what any of these errors actually are. To be perfectly honest I pulled up a vague list of error codes on google and was like "oh! Those three have names that vaguely connect to what I wanna express, I'll use those". So I was not in anyway coherently aware of what any of them meant other than face value, but now I DO know (and I know that save for my poetic interpretations I'm completely wrong. xD)
And I completely understand it too!! Being a biomedical engineer I cringe anytime I see people misuse biology/engineering vocab in the same way haha. But again I really appreciate you reading this and taking the time to actually comment on all this. Next I decide to delve into this area I'll know someone I can call on for a little help.
Have a wonderful day you beautiful stranger.

The most expressive and compelling error code definitions I've ever read. I wonder whether, if you were to put this on Github, people would submit pull requests, or fork it, so that all the error codes are covered.
