I was shooting a different subject, and someone happened to break a lightbulb while I was in the studio. Before they threw it away, I asked to use it. Glad I did

A dramatic representation of a thought is often a lightbulb, like in cartoons, a lightbulb appears at the top of the characters head when they get an idea. Bad idea, broken lightbulb.

Maybe it's an explosive thought. A good kind of explosive. It's your piece so I guess I shoudln't debate it; it's just so fun.

Light is illuminating what generates light and will never again shine, this might even seem allegoric: what once did illuminate now, dead, is illuminated...a great italian poet (Foscolo) loved the theme of death that honored and made great.
A little touch on the focus and perfection would have prevalied

Intersting shot. My suggestion would have been to control the lighting a bit better. The light coming on the left hand side kind of throws it all off for me. If the rest of it was black all around I think it'd have much more of an effect. Regardless though, nice idea.
