Why do they waiting for water? Do you mean they are waiting for rain? Do they not have running water in their homes?

Thanks for viewing.yes, they Dont have running water in their home. Its a street side water, provided by government at everyday 4 to 5 PM. So instead of standing in queue, they kept their pot for occupying their presence in the queue.

WOW, thanks for the information. Is there a limited amount of water per home? Or they will provide the water for the containers they place in front of their home? Is this normal that they do not have running water in their homes?

May i know the general area of your village? I am sorry i have so many questions, i hope this is okay, if you decide i am indeed with too many questions, ignore me okay

So...4 containers per household, in spite of the size of the family? Are the water allotment to be used for personal hygiene (bathing for example)?

I am OK for answering all your questions.
In my street each family has maximum 4 numbers and minimum 2. They use this water for daily usage like bathing, cleaning kitchen utilities, washing and DRINKING as well. And some people needs more water for their cattels as well. I know this won't be enough for them within 4 containers, but this village have more than 300 house. To manage the scarcity of water this is the step taken by the local village government.

The main reason behind is, village didn't receive proper rail fall and low water level in nearby dam.

Oh man, what an awful way to receive the very basic need of their daily life! I am wondering though is this ration control for right now only? In another words when the reservoir is filled with it's full capacity, the ration then removed?

i am interested in this topic is a simple one, I have empathy for the world citizens, I hate that for them for not having running water in their homes, it makes absolutely no sense to me, provided that we are after all in the year of 2015. Do you live in this village currently?

Many thanks for your humanity first. Like your true care for my people.

I live in a village named ragupathy naiken Palayam, located in erode city. This city is in a state named Tamil nadu. This state has very good known tourist places called ooty and kodaikannal. Many people from United States and Europe visits here.
Our people can't raise their voice beyond certain level. That's why the situation doesn't change from here.
