Oh I remember this one. Funny thing it's the Ultima from XII is the same Ultima for Tactics. What does this mean? Fluttershy's going to make war with the gods.

Which Final Fantasy game(s) is Ultima from? I've only played FF1 (GBA remake), FF2 (ditto), FF7, Crystal Chronicles, and Revenant Wings.

Ironically in the ivaice alliance games Ultima is basically the equalient of Lucifer having stage a rebellion and falling from grace as a result Fluttershy is the last pony you would expect to lead a army of any kind, (of fall from grace but that another story)

Oh man, I remember fighting her. For some reason, I branched to the deeper portions of the crystal, going up instead of down. Made my way through the crystal, wondering why monsters were at least 10 levels higher than me (being my party around high 40's-low 50's). Managed to make it to the top, to the save crystal. For whatever reason, I decided to pass it up. Wish I didn't. Walked right into Ultima's dwelling. I was ill-equipped, hurting bad, and scared shitless. Luckily, I pinched my items throughout the game, so I had a lot of potions stocked from monsters, and I made use of the increased Magick regeneration for my Raise spell when I needed it. I managed to scratch up a victory against her due to sheer determination of not losing all the progress of getting to where I came. Now, I can't remember if I had a temp party member with me... I want to say Reddas, since that would have been appropriate at that point in the game, but I know he didn't join us to Giruvegan. I want to say Larsa due to a lot of healing potions, but I can't remember if he left earlier in the game first. GAH, I wish I could remember.

Madmax I really don't mean to nazi on this, but FFXII referred to them as Espers. I see your boast down below about not getting Zodiark either...trust me, he was not worth the hassle. Honestly he looks like a fish with Big Mac's bridle and using him was virtually pointless. The real test in FF12 was conquering the 50 million hp Yiazmat without saving....not fun

Yea I knew...I killed him once with one save before and then multiples as the battle progressed. I later went back and beat him strait through. That was a four hour guessing game cause it could have been game over every time he used whirlwind or whatever it was.
