so, I have been thinking that ponyville is the equestrian equivalent to Silent hill, I mean, that creepy forest all that monsters and now the hell gates are open! thanks god this is a show for kids...did I mentioned this show is amazing? no? well it is.

Not to say bad comic or anything but... the Greek Underworld is split into multiple sections.
The five rivers of Hades are Acheron (the river of sorrow), Cocytus (the river of lamentation), Phlegethon (the river of fire), Lethe (the river of forgetfulness) and Styx (the river of hate)
The Court- Where souls are are put on trial and depending on how they lived they are sent to one of the Meany afterlife areas.
The Isles of the Blessed and Elysian Fields- Where souls of the good go after their trial.
The Asphodel Meadows- where the neutral souls are sent, nothing ever happens here.
The Three plains of Punishment- Where the dammed go depending on their life.
minor where you are forced to do impossible tasks until the end of time.
mild Where you still have basic needs of humans but you not allowed to fulfill them IE not allowed to eat or drink on an island with fruit and clean water surrounding it.
The great pit of Tartarus The great prison.
The underworld isn't hell, only part of it is.
