Description I have wanted to do a portrait of him for ages where he's deadly serious instead of sporting his usual smile. This contest has given me that push to try. It's how I imagined Cicero looked just before he tried to stab Astrid. It's also the look which gives me goosebumps and goofy smiles. I hope it gets you squirming too.

- Update: Changed the mainfile to a larger version so you can see the colors in his eyes. Some say his eyes are green, a few gold and most go with the actual in game color brown. For myself, I think of his eyes as a mix of all those colors-um a brown hazel of sorts. Brown with some flecks of green and gold. i.usatoday.net/tech/_photos/20…

I couldn't draw it in red. Too hard on the eyes. I used a green background instead like what we find here at DA. I love drawing him serious. I might draw some more of him in future.

Intense, scary and not a side we usually see from our mad fool Cicero. Although he's an assassin and obviously insane he never feels threatening in the game. This, however, is very threatening, the way he emerges out of the dark, the almost hypnotic gaze, the pose. Nice!

A worthy winner.

This is a wonderful drawing, Cease! I love the dark intensity of his stare! That's NOT a good look to receive from the Keeper... (especially when there's a knife in his hand.) The shading on his face is really well done, and I love how you added the highlights to his eyes. It's a nice touch of realism as Cicero emerges from the darkness. eep!

Thank you I really wanted his eyes to punch into the viewer and at least cause some squirming as well as unease. I'm tempted to do a full color version if I can get my tablet and computer to behave with each other.

I got a bit squirmy under that stare when drawing him. Spent most of my time on the eyes.Do you see the small flecks of green and amber?

Aww it's his pounce face. I think he looks adorable. It might be wise to not stare too long. The color can be eye straining for long periods but I picked the intense red to create this flinching effect with the viewer.
