Description ...revealed.

Traditional art! I forgot how relaxing it actually is to take coloured pencils and just fill the paper with colour. Something digital art will never be able to do for me. It also gives me time to think about things, that maybe I didn't want to think about for a while.
Actually I am surprised that my coloured pencils are still in a good shape and quite big. A few years ago I used to always run short on black, brown and blue. ;] And oh dear, how long has it been since I drew wings? I still didn't improve in that regard. No wonder.

Inspired by a painting of Franz Dvorak, who painted it almost 100 years ago.

I really like her expression and pose! Her right arm and shoulder also stand out to me as looking particularly good.

I agree about traditional art, too. For whatever reason, even though I've been doing it for some time now, I just tend to find digital art much more frustrating, even if it's going relatively smoothly for once.

It is indeed more frustrating. It's not as easy as drawing with a pen or painting with a brush. Sure, there is the undo button ad itis easier to cheat with filters, textures etc. But nothing looks more impressive than art drawn with traditional media to me. Got more soul.

Her hair was the first what caught my eye. The flowing motion of them is so real I have urge to touch it. Whole picture is so beautiful. I always like more your works which are done traditionaly. Maybe because I also draw by hand, not by tablet.

Thank you :U
Well I like traditional art more as well, I am just too lazy to grab all the tools and space to start drawing. I will try though...

You are welcome dear

Yes, I face same problem. Maybe if I was able to draw in the train and such in traditional way I could produce much more things for you and others to look on But try bring all the shit, papers, pencils erasers and such with you XD Impossible task

You are right, normally I prefer drawing myself, but if I have something turbulent to think about, then I print one of free-to-fill sketches of art noveau pictures from DA and I just let myself feel tired after putting so much strength into a coloured pencil. It's very refreshing.

It is like filling a mantra. If you want, I think I got the sketch for this one as jpg file. So if you like, you can fill it in your own colours, even if it is not art nouveau
