Absolutely gorgeous. This, and the others in the series pull at my heartstrings.

Thank you! Anything in particular you want to know? As far as hints, don't fall into the trap of adding shadows, midtones, and highlights to every single area of a piece. Recessed areas need heavy shadows with a little midtone and maybe a hint of highlight, and vice versa for prominent areas. Also, try to pick a non-centered light source. Basicly, avoid this: [link] See how the neck has light when it's usually in shadow from the head, and the shirt's highlight pattern follows a centered point instead of an actual light source? Just draw pixel art as if you would a charcoal still life by keeping true to actual refracted light patterns.
