Description Frizzy feels and fiery blue auras
A black disc spins its colorful hues.
A weave, a whirl of music twirls,
And dreams condense from steaming stews.

The Tower.  The Gypsy.  A melodic tune
Draws me in some trappy clamp.
I’ll ponder and quest behind the glass
Of my old fashioned lava lamp.

But soon the bridge begins to burn,
When father screams, “FIVE FIFTY THREE!”
I kick the stars off of my bed
When the “real world” comes to trouble me.

Aw thanks a ton! I love poetry! I haven't been writing to often which I'd like to change. I was thinking about compiling a book of poems and illustrations and totally forgot about it. Thanks for the inspiration, I'll have to get back to work on it!

My poetry tends to not make much sense. Its really a bunch of abstractions on abstractions that delutes a simple meaning.

I love to dream, and man... sometimes I get these spinning kaliedescope colors, I think part of it depends on my sugar level... but the biggest factor is music. I've always been able to see color in my dreams... or at least pick out colors in my dream.

That would be awesome... I don't have the musical talent or the proper recording stuff to make that possible. I would love to mess around with a keyboard, or guitar, or accordian... hahaha. I'm pumped cause Elkhorn flea markets are getting closer and closer, I usually always see an accordian when I go. My one music buddy was going to work on some tunes for my poems but that did happen. He said he was used to working the other way... I dunno..

If you want to take a stab at some tunes and signing and stuff be my guest! I'd love to hear what you come up with.

EEEEeeeee I love that line so much too!!! I actually have a blanket with stars on it... it was a big joke a long time ago... I would tell people that I slept with the stars. Anywho... kind of a silly inside double meaning with that line. Thanks so much Emmy! *big honking hug*
