Description
Tomas usually spent his nights after work watching videos alone on his phone while having his “dinner”. His dog Rainer would usually be laying right by the table, awaiting the odd crum every few minutes or so.

But since Rainer passed on, the nights have been tougher. The walls close in tighter, the cold feels sharper, and the silence grows louder.

Tomas finishes up his final bite, as he powers his phone off. Usually at this point he’d get up to go to bed to repeat the cycle again, but tonight, he just sat there. A cog was lodged into his brain, yet all he can hear was static. Even though a loved one is in his presence, there’s no life left.

Tomas was frozen in a comatose state, unaware of any of his surroundings. Then, his phone buzzed…
