Description
As you might have noticed, I'm experimenting a lot lately, with different mediums, painting in general, color...
all the stuff I have no clue about.
So with this one I was especially interested to find a traditional medium which allows for impetuosity.
I'm used to crosshatching, which isn't the fastest way to get things done
and quite often some of the initial impulse is lost in translation.
Thus I used inkwash in this try. It's quite crude, but it was also rather quick.

So the medium experiment was rather successful (not the painting itself), yet the
lack of brightening is sadly a downfall.

If you have any medium suggestions for quick loose traditional work, I would be more than happy to hear.
