Personality and Quirks

Pi is a young stallion from a group of Batailles that recently escaped from the secret Fortress of the Knights of Durant. They were being experimented on magically when one of the rituals backfired and the colts escaped. The colts are not battle-trained and they have severe distrust of humans. Pi has been subject to some terrible experiments by the mages that resulted in the removal of his eyes and the magical grafting of heat pits onto his muzzle. The tip of his horn has also been magically removed, probably some pocket money for a greedy mage. He is unable to see visually, but has some sense of what is around him with his 'heat vision'. He is very careful about where he puts his feet and is not very fast as a result (the ground is usually all the same temperature so its hard for him to tell what objects are in the way). Unlike most Batailles, he is very affectionate and loves hugs and sugar cubes, but first you'll have to break through his fear of humans! He will strike out if surprised!

Pi really is a love bug once he gets used to your smell. He is particularly fond of Taunie and Mummy as they helped him trust humans again. He will forever be loved and snuggled at their home in the mountains. He does find it tough to adjust to the every changing landscape of the Blue Ridge. It is not flat and it is not the same around every bend but his friends make sure he is safe. He enjoys sitting in the sun and now has a taste for oatcakes. He misses the other stallions that escaped him with terribly and hopes to meet up with them again one day.

He never forgets a smells, rather it is stored like faces are store with sighted individuals. He will always remember those who have hurt him and those that were kind to him.
