Second last commission, this one for She asked for a completely different type of dragon, so here's her furry male dragon, as yet unnamed. Enjoy!EDIT* So offered me the chance to name him and his rider myself, so I've chosen Lorrolan for the dragon, and Sen'chai for his rider. Both of Sen'chai's parents were traders, so he traveled a great deal in his youth. When his parents finally settled in a border town between two great provinces, he grew restless to travel again. Bonding with Lorrolan fulfilled all his dreams and more.

The closer horn has kind of a weird perspective, but the detail on his face and the fur is wonderful! I'm in love with the shadow, especially the little blank you put for the eye.

They're from a book series I'm writing.. I thought I might get some images done.. ^.^ I'm looking at setting this up as an rp.. It's similar to Pern; in terms of dragonriders but not in what they fight or how they live. If anyone is interested in the story or the rp ^.^ just note me..

Pretty much yeah. They're not nearly as curly or big, but that's where I got my inspiration. I tried a lot of different horns out on this guy and wolfofwhite thought these were the best.

Have you tried having more bumps that are closer together upon the horns? Or really tightly pack rings that over lap in an almost scale like?

I fooled around with a couple different looks, but I found that if I took directly from an existing horn, it looked a lot more believable.
