I still want to add a quiver, detailing to the bow, a background and some effects. I just wanted to show what I have done so far to see what people think.Related content

Very cool. Funnily enough, I saw this on the front page and thought "Hey, that looks pretty cool", but I didn't check who the author was or anything. Then I go and check my messages. Some minor quibbles with the way shes shooting (the arrow goes on on the same side as your eye, shes carrying her elbow too high on the arm shes pulling with), buts that just because aside from being a gun nut, I'm also a medieval weaponry nut. The coloring and shading are excellent.

I have a recurve longbow and the arrow goes on the opposite side of the hand you are pulling with so that as your fingers roll around the string they pull the arrow against the bow. Glad you like it.

Oh? My bad. Despite my fanatacism, it has been a rather long time since I last actually used a bow, and I'm not known for a photographic memory.
