Six years ago, I was involved in the design of some hardware for a graphic novel, a Comic known as Death-Raye.This is the car, with his unorthodox powerplant, and with external accesories as monopropellant rockets for emergency propulsion when the main engine fails.

It's very vell done, but what's the point of having a frontal armored grill when you have an exposed cockpit or even worse, an exposed explosive tank on the side?

Don't know. I have no news of the Comic people, but there are a pair of illustrations of the subject with the car.
