Description
You asked, I delivered almost one year laterI hosted a poll on September, 2016, asking you guys which story of mine you would like to see more art from and Yellow was the most voted one.
Unfortunately I never managed to get around it... But now I have fixed the situation
Have a picture that shows off one/some of the reasons why Tulip broke up with Jake in the first place!
Spoiler warning...?
...So instead of blabering what's going on I shall leave you guys wondering what this is all about
Even though this background was actually done with rather quick pace for me, I still like how it turned out
Special shout out to Emijuh for slapping a quick water tutorial in my face and baring with my insisting to add more detail to the water while stalking watching from the side
I hope you like it~
Haven't read Yellow yet?
Here's the first page of the Prologue where you can start reading it:

Is it okay if I try this water style? It won't be permanent, just something to test out.

Feel free to!
Although the way of drawing water like that was suggested by my friend Emijuh but I think it's fine!

Woow. the water? How did you do the water? It's so beautiful?!Β Β
Oh my god, and the sky - I'm just falling completely in love with that sky! And the sunrays!
I'll admit. Basically everything, hehe!Β But really, sun, sky and these rays - they are my favourite! Β
Also, the leaves contribute to that atmosphere so nicely!
Interested to know more about the characters soon as well. ^-^Β

Haha there's my friend to be thanked for that! I still don't feel overly confident when drawing water but after her little tips I hope I can start shaping how to draw water for my own style :"3 But we shall see about it in the future!
The sky is my personal favorite on this one~ Thank you very much!^^
I may be posting more pages soon, hopefully! Since I found the sketched pages I had "lost" for a while Maybe during my first week on Ireland I get to do a page or two so the comic could continue with a regular pace

Good friend you got there!Β Β Β The style of your water really is unique, that's true. Maybe a little bit of depth is missing? (I'm not exactly sure, I gotta admit I've never really drawn water before ) But how I said, I love colours and these reflections.Β Β
The sky definitely is my favourite as well, you're welcome!Β Β
I'm looking forward to your comic in any case! Β Do as you can; Irish landscapes might be a big inspiration btw, they're mostly flat so the views are kinda endless.Β Β Β

Yeah the depth would be something I'd like to get more better with! As for me it seems still semi-flat...? But then again I have tendency to overdo a lot of things so I guess that might be also the "issue"
That's actually very true! During my few days here I must say the bus trip we had from Dublin airport down to Cork was really eye opening experience to realize that Ireland is actually so fresh by nature which is really nice ;w; It is a thing I never really had a chance to see when I was in Dublin for a week but so far I don't regret my choice for the exchange country x3

Yeah haha, semi-flat is a really good expression! It's saying the depth is not too bad plus you won't need to admit that you don't know how to make it better
Looking at your art style, you're really right about that tendency, yet I think it is just perfect! It's part of your style and I'm always fond of the colours you choose!
Β
Yeah cool, I remember you're already in Ireland now - so glad to hear your approvement! I'm super happy you seem positive about it so far! Not that I had feared otherwise
Also, I don't know if there are double-decker buses where you live? They're quite frequent in Ireland and I got to experience my first rides in them. If you ever get a chance, use it! They're awfully slow, I'll admit, but sitting up there is wonderful. Β

Thank you!^^ I personally like to think my the best strength in art stays within the colors and I have always loved colors~ So I like to think when they say everyone is "born" with some talent I'd like to think my talent within drawing is the way I use color
We actually got some double-decker buses in Cork! They look so freaky yet are so cool :'3 They surely provide a perfect chance to have better view of the surroundings when going in/out from the city center So I can totally relate to that one

Yes, I completely agree! What's more, I consider you're lineart a strength as well - it's extremely clean and smooth; for me an important part of your style as well.
Yay haha, glad you got to see them too! Hope they will serve you their good purpose.

I love how colorful this is!
But... though the water is beautiful drawn and reflects the sunset(/sunrise?) great, there could be a bit more depth at it. Like - the waves could be a bit smaller drawn in the background, and bigger when it comes near to the character in the foreground. Dunno how to explain this right, but there could just be a bit more in-depth c:

Don't worry, I totally get what you mean and it is something that personally also catches my eye in a bit wrong way :"3
Maybe next time I shall try better!
