Description
the only place open at 11.00p in park city for dinner was butcher's. very nice split pea soup. bars are generally a waste of time in utah. they have devices that measure every pour. stupid.i think my favourite -- still -- genre are the shots of people that would generally be really pissed off if they caught me. i'm sure this guy wouldn't be happy. i saw him around. he seemed the "producer or agent type." always alone. always on the phone. dunno.
but spy shots are my favourite.

One of my favorites from you, the over head lights work so well with the Delta, i have found it pushes nicely to 800 with a nice subtle grain. unlike most other 400's which end up looking like a photoshop filter

sometimes it's just there. that's what i love. i didn't fly a 12x12 overhead. i didn't use a giant softbox.
and it's just there.
that's why i do personal work.
and, thank you, love.

i havent been to the usa, but bars are different there? people dont generally sit around, all pensive etc in pubs here, bit more of a social aspect. the weather contributes, lack of outdoor options
course this is one photo, one bar
a very very nice photo i might add
really dig the composition, + sneaky spy shot-ness

Gotta Love the emotion that bar photos always tend to portray. I think perhaps it's the actual bars in general, whatever it is. It's awesome. Fantastic capture as always! Feels like something out of a movie.

You have a tallent for captureing moments...this is the kind of photography I love the most--just a moment, when no one knows you are watching, crystalized forever.

what a fabuloso shot. I expect someone really steamy sexy to show up to meet him, either Linda Fiorentino, a young Anna Magnani, or Angelina's lips, followed by her. Ha! Great, actually if the lips came in alone and she came later; very surreal, Hitchcock directing, crisp mysterious dialogue, and our CWeeks taking the stills. Oh my, be still my heart!

this shot brough me in the life of that man in few seconds, he is so absorbed (or lost) in hisβs thoughts, alone in a bar, and he don't know that me, as a lot of person here watch this shot feeling his loneliness or just asking "I guess what he thought"...

he was -- like myself -- away from home ... far away ...
doing business ... working ... and trying to grab a drink at one of the only places open that late.
