In the season 3 finale, we have our first look at the overarching villain of the series and the main villain of season 4...The Masked Figure
A mysterious man dressed in dark clothes and a metallic mask that hides his true identity, the Masked Figure is a sinister crime lord who conspires behind complex mysteries and crimes. Donald Jones aka Professor Huh used to work for him. Now seeing the Mystery Inc. gang as a threat to his operations, he conspires nefarious plans to be rid of them and build his criminal empire of creatures.

Inspiration: The Evil Masked Figure / the mask and overall design is inspired by Yokai (Professor Callaghan) from Big Hero 6 / the robot claw hand is inspired by Dr. Phineus Phibes

Captain Cutlerβs Sonβs motive would actually be a two-part motive. He wanted revenge on The Scooby gang for locking up his parents and the other reason was that there was buried treasure he was trying to fish out.
