Finally finished
Oil on canvas 50*70 cm

I was wondering where to put this in surreal or political and I finally opted for political but I consider it's halh half
I had a lot of fun doing this
But gush heads are hard to paint reallistically. It was my first painting of a face and my tacher helped me a bit on it
I think it doesn't need any explanations

I'm not sure why I like this. Was it because of how good can you be with oil painting? Or was it because there's Bush in it with monkeys?

I love the political message and the use of surrealism within a political piece. For me the monkeys draw the eye too much and the political message could be over looked as the viewers eye skims past the portrait of Bush and doesn't necessarily react to who it is!
The paniting, colours etc are fantastic and I look forward to seeing more of it!

I think you're true about the eyes drawed too much on the monkeys.
anyway I can't change it now, it's the handicap with trad paintings hehe ^^
But I should think better of the point of attraction for next ones.
