Description
“You Maverick Hunters are no less detestable than that deranged abomination, Wily! All you do is oppress others and shoot them down when they resist! Shocking coincidence, isn’t it?”Reploid Name: Elec Weasel
Original Robot Master: Elec Man
Weapon: Thunder Beam, Lightning Dash
Weakness: Cutting (Shadow Blade)
Allegiance: Bass
Position: General
Rank: A
Status: Maverick
Base of Operations: Central Power Station
Elec Man was smart, powerful, charming, handsome, and even then that was just an understatement. It was no surprise that he developed a narcissistic view of himself. However, after being used by Wily to fight against Mega Man, he felt deeply violated and ashamed to a degree far greater than the other robot masters. As such he developed an extreme fear of reprogramming. Over time, he matured and humbled himself. But for years, he watched as Wily abused and tormented countless fellow robot masters by perverting them into his personal mind slaves. In the 22nd century, Elec Weasel ended up reliving his greatest nightmare as a new agent of Neo Wily. However, by the time he was completely rebuilt, Wily had already fallen, and Bass declared himself the new leader. Bass ordered the purging of the W Program, attempting to eliminate Wily as a possible future threat. Elec Weasel gladly became the first to join Bass and is often viewed as the true strength behind his empire. Personality wise, Elec Weasel likes showing off a bit, but has strong resolve, and is highly intelligent and resourceful. In spite seemingly rushing through things, he always comes up with intellectual reasoning for his actions and knows how to balance the odds. He came to the belief that with humans around, people like Dr. Wily were bound to reappear, and as such, it would be best for reploid kind to rule in place of humans. This belief is made stronger by his phobia-induced hatred for Wily. Elec Weasel is extremely fast, devastatingly powerful, and has hard to dodge attacks. His signature attack is “Thunder Beam,” which shoots a massive jolt of electricity, which is often executed in mid a jump, or on the ground. His second attack is Lightning Dash, which allows him to launch himself at his opponent with the help of his electrically charged tail. This attack can also be executed in mid jump. Thunder Ball is one his slower attacks, in which he throws a larger Thunder Beam directly at the ground, using both hands, creating large electric shock waves. His Lightning Bolt attack creates one or two small balls of lightning from the tip his tail, which shoot strait onto the ceiling and move around until Elec Weasel poses with his finger to execute the attack, which sends powerful bolts of electricity directly below the electric balls. Along with the double Lightning Bolt, Thunder Burst is one of Elec Weasel’s desperation moves. He moves into the center of the room and shoots five bolts of electric energy in a fanned formation around him much like Armored Armadillo’s counter attack and Zero’s Rakuhouha. His final tactic is his Mega Thunder Beam, which takes time to charge, but is a larger and more powerful variation of his Thunder Beam attack. Elec Weasel took over the Central Power Station and blacked out several cities, manipulating the energy for his own plans in the process.
Since the first moment I played Mega Man 1, Elec Man instantly became my favorite robot master in the game. I believe it’s safe to say that he is my favorite of all time. Galaxy Man, Time Man, and Shadow Man make close seconds. For this reason, I wanted to give him a great look that reflects my appeal for him. Originally, I was going to make him Elec Moth, but quickly changed it to Elec Weasel after some advice from my brother. After all, I like weasels more. His personality was borrowed from Mega Man Powered Up, and altered here and there by “plausible” events. His desire to create a utopia for Reploids was inspired by “Evolution of Circuitry,” a lyrical remix of Elec Man’s theme, in a revolution style (his actual theme is also one the best ever.)
One of my favorite reploids to design, guarantied. I liked giving him his signature components while messing with experimental designs. The stripes on his body and the conductor on the tip of his tail are a homage to Elecman.EXE’s design (even though the tail is off color and stripes are off design.) The electricity was created using some of the tools in GIMP (most of the editing in my drawings are done in Paint after using GIMP to trace my drawings that were drawn out on paper.)
Fun Fact: Elec Man was molded after American Super Heroes, while Dr. Light was literally modeled after Santa Clause.

That's quite ironic.

Really? Holy cow, I had no idea Light indeed does look like Santa, but still
I like his muzzle. It looks just awesome in pair with Elecman's signature mask.

I hope Wikipedia didn't lie again... but yes, that's pretty much something I did not make up. I had a very surprised reaction when I found out about Dr. Light as well. Now we know why he gives X presents in every game (starting with the "stockings," just to add to the Chistmasy feel.)
Yes, it was a must for me to include the mask. The way it ended up blending with his face was exactly what I wanted as well. His muzzle was the basis for the design. I tend to look for a particular feature to start with and go from there.

He's probably mt favorite of all the Robot masters you have managed to maverick-ify, his muzzle kinda reminds me of a Buizel

You know, that never crossed my mind until you told me about it, but you are completely right. He looks a LOT like Buizel. It's strange cause I never paid too much attention to the 4th generation. It's actually my least favorite, mostly due to the evolved forms of previous Pokemon that were introduced. Buizel is actually one of that generation that appeals to me. But anyway, since Elec Man is my favorite robot master, it's appropriate that he turned out the best (so far at least.)
Thanks for the fav (and comment.)

One word comments are irritating because they fail to properly give the correct message across, but I think the second comment got the message through. If you have something to say, please say it in a way I can understand. And also, they are meant to have similarities because they are MEANT to be the same! Just upgraded, and this one is much more complex than most of my previous ones. That's why the phrase: "Original Robot Master:" is in the description to begin with. If they looked nothing like each other, it would completely destroy the purpose.

Yeah. I'm sorry if I kinda irritated you. It looks good though, I'm not really sure what else to say about it though.

Sorry for sounding as angry as I did. I thought about that when hitting the Add Comment button. My bad. It's just that tiny comments, when having a negative message, are sometimes more disturbing than outright rants, because you know exactly what the ranter is saying. He gave you five paragraphs. But the two word comment leaves you wondering, and that lasts longer. And it doesn't do much to help either, since you don't know what the problem is or if there even is one to begin with. And "Look good?" implies that you are questioning if the art looks good at all, which implies that the art is downright horrible. Enough ranting.
But anyway, thanks for the comment, and sorry if any harm was done.
